I have been buying tires from town fair tire for the last 20 years for all my 3 cars. Today I went to the Vernon store to have a simple tire repair for a slow leak. The mechanic ended up breaking the lug on the front hub that he said he could not fix. He also said I needed a new tire because the tire could not be fixed. When I said to put the spare on so I can bring the tire elsewhere is when I was then informed that the tire could be fixed, but I had to go elsewhere to have the lug fixed. I ended up spending $66 to have the lug fixed at a local garage. I followed up with the manager about the lug repair cost. He said it was not town fair's problem to pay for the repair more
