?Touch of Class Cleaning,? the gentleman?s name is Tim Brown who I have been contact with when doing business. They offer a wonderful cleaning special on craigslist, which most citizens of Bell County would take advantage of. My family also hired this company to clean our residence before moving out, and I must say that I am having such a professional difficult time with this company and the aftermath. Mr. Brown and his cleaning individuals rescheduled our early in the morning appointment on May 15th, to mid afternoon of that day. On May 15th, they were late to their rescheduled appointment. I remained calm, and did not complain about the rescheduling or the lateness. Mr. Brown and his cleaning individuals did not complete the job that day and rescheduled to come back the following day in the morning. On May 16th, Mr. Brown and his cleaning individuals rescheduled once again to the afternoon. On May 16th, they were late once again. I did not complain or bring the issue up with Mr. Brown, I do not like confrontation. Upon their completion of the job, or so I thought, I provided Mr. Brown with my email address. Mr. Brown advised that he would be emailing me my invoice to provide to my Rental Agency. I took Mr. Brown for his word; I had other things on my mind as I prepared for my move to Spokane Wa with my two young daughters.
Approximately a week ago, I received a bill from my rental agency where they charged over $400.00 for cleaning and carpet cleaning, which was suppose to be done by Mr. Brown and his company. I contacted Mr. Brown and explained my situation and asked him to email me my invoice since he did not the first time, per our verbal agreement. Mr. Brown advised me early in the morning that he would be on his computer around 10am that morning, and would send it. The time came and passed so I sent a text message to Mr. Brown, who then advised he would get it out in approximately 10 minutes. I did not actually receive the invoice until approximately 5pm that day. I was shocked by the invoice, Mr. Brown had charged me $200.00, and advised me to send him the remainder balance at my convenience. The originally contract stated payment of $150.00, which I brought to his attention. The first email was sent from ?touch of class cleaning,? the second email with the correct amount for payment, was sent from Mr. Brown?s personal email. I feel they are keep inaccurate financial records, which I plan on reporting to the IRS.
A few days later I advised Mr. Brown that my rental agency was still charging me, and my family wanted to know what his company was going to do to fix this. Mr. Brown advised that he would refund me the amount that my rental agency charged me; this was last Friday June 22nd. I inquired with Mr. Brown how long it would take for the refund to be mailed. He advised 5 business days, which would make this Thursday June 28th. Shortly after my first inquiry I inquired the exact amount the refund would be. Mr. Brown will no long answer my phone calls, my text messages, nor my emails. This same action with the being late and rescheduling happen to another poor individual in Killeen, Tx. Mr. Brown also disclaims that this company is veteran owned. My husband and I are also veterans, both doing a tour in Iraq and we are simply disgusted! I recently have received by Bachelors Degree in Social Work, and I have just started on my Masters Degree in Social Work, so I understand the difficulties that Veterans are having. Mr. Brown and his company are bring shame to the Veteran population, and I feel are making it even more difficult for Veterans to thrive in society by not living up to military standards and practicing integrity and honor.
