I used to sell clothes in Dallas at the most wonderful consignment store. It looked like a department store with all the merchandise displayed really well and organized in areas like suits, evening, casual, etc. They had tons of real designer wear and it was a 1st class store. Checks were mailed out monthly and as the store was so nice, the prices were less than a department store, but more than a lot of consignments.
As I had such a positive experience, when I moved to CT I decided to try Touch of Class in Simsbury. The first thing I noticed was that there was NO organization and it totally looked like a used clothing store. I was told that I could pick up checks each month. SInce then I have tried for the last 3 months to get paid and have been put off each time. I keep getting different answers as to if they mail checks or are to to picked up. Every time I come in, I'm told that the checks are to paid ""next month on the 20th""... this has been going on for 3 months. Be aware if you actually do try to sell things - you may not be paid. Giving to Salvation Army is much more productive and honest.
