This was by far and away the best tanning salon experience i have had . i have lived all the world over and tried tanning salons in many countries. Total Image Tan far surpassed my expectations. The tan looked like I had been in the tropics without the dangerous exposure. more

Best tan 2/29/2012

I have tried everywhere around Lombard for airbrush tanning and this place is the best i have been too. The airbrush tan came out natural and brown, not orange like most places. They cater the color to you and it comes out perfect. A GREAT PLACE.. more

Great experience! 2/29/2012

I had done the spray booth about a year ago and wasn't impressed with the results. I decided to give it another try after a friend recommended Total Image Tan. The tan looks fabulous! I am now in the fourth day and people are asking me where I've been on vacation. I highly recommend it. more

Nobody believed me when I told them. ""Where did you go on vacation?"" Nowhere. ""Have you been to the tanning bed?"" No. ""Where did you get that color, then?"" A spray tan. ""Get out of here"". I'd just like to say how professional & friendly your service was. I got a full body tan just prior to my holiday and never regretted it for one moment!! A male can feel rather awkward walking into a salon full of women but you all were very pleasant and helped me to relax. Thank you again! more

Highly recommend 12/2/2011

I heard about Total Image Tan from a friend of a friend and decided to give it a try. I had previously tried brazil bronze, portofino and the spray tan booths so I had some experience with airbrush tanning. The whole experience at Total Image Tan was terrific. I went a couple of days before a friends wedding and was so happy with the results. I highly recommend Total Image Tan to anyone looking for an airbrush tan. It was excellent and lasted almost a full week! more

For my first airbrush tan ever, I went to Total Image Airbrush Tanning before a trip to Mexico. I have a very fair complexion (blonde, blue-eyed, and pale!) and wanted to look good on the beach without exposing myself to harmful uv rays. I asked for a medium bronze and the color lasted about 5-6 days (I was in the ocean and swimming pool so I understood it would fade faster). I think next time I would go for a lighter tone, just because I wasn't used to seeing myself so tan, but everyone who knew I did it told me it looked natural and good. I have no complaints and will return next time I want to look tan and fabulous! more

Great color 11/22/2011

I am really pale and don't tan well, even on vacation, because i use so much sunblock and burn easily. I was so happy to have a warm brown tan. The technician is very nice and really made the whole experience fun. I got home and was amazed at how great the color looked. later that night i went to a party and everyone thought I had just come back from an island. The last time I went for an airbrush tan i went somewhere else and they turned me orange, so I cannot tell you how much better Total Image Airbrush Tanning is in everyway. more

Golden bronze 10/13/2011

I've done airbrush tanning before and Total Image is the best out of all the tanning salons I've tried. It was streak free and left me with a golden bronze glow (none of the orangey color) and faded evenly. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back here in a heartbeat! more

Totally Great Tan 9/25/2011

I use this place to get spray tanned.Leaves a great glow, if you moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!!! it will last a good 12 days. The place itself is nicely decorated, clean and the technician is very professional and knows what she is doing!!! more

Totally Great Tan 4/30/2011

I was going to a conference in Florida and did not want to be the 'pale person from the North.' I did not want to use a tanning bed, as I tend to look orange when my skin is winter white. I had seen people on Dancing with the Stars and heard that they had make-up artist spray their tans on. This seemed appealing to me because I did not want to go into one of the spray-on tan machines. I found Total Image Airbush and thought I would give it a try. I was very happy. The airbrushing made my tan look authentic (not orange) and it was nice and even. When it faded away, I was sad, but it did fade much like a real tan. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I did enjoy it not being a crowded assembly line type of place. I was in and out quickly and had no problems with my scheduled appointment. As the weather is finally turning warm in Chicago - I will be going back soon. more

Atrocious service 3/31/2011

I can't speak for the product but experienced the WORST customer service of my life! I called the front desk to inquire about the hours of operation. Immediately I felt insulted by Kristin, the woman on the other line due to her extreme attitude and rude tone of voice. I was made to feel to stupid for calling and inquiring about the business hours. I was appalled by her demeanor and thanked her for the time and hung up. Minutes later, I received a condescending voicemail from Kristin reprimading me for hanging up so swifty. Needless to say, Total Image Tan will not receive my business. more

Great service, tan, and studio! 3/7/2010

I went in for an airbrush tan on friday and am very pleased with the turnout! I now have a nice tan that isn't orange and streaky like tanning beds will make you. The studio is gorgeous and very state-of the-art. The owner is a very kind and genuine person who shows an interest in the customer. I recommend this studio to anyone who is considering a beautiful tan and/or looking for a company to do their makeup& hair on their wedding day. Great experience! Pros: Overall, a great place! more

The Best Way to Tan- Healthy! 2/14/2010

I have never had a spray tan before and was a little scared of the outcome. But Total Image was able to give me a natural, even tan in 10 minutes! It took about 5 minutes to apply and 5 to dry. There was no smell afterward, and it's 4 days later and the tan still looks great and is fading evenly. This is a great idea for weddings, school dances or to get that pre-color before going on vacation. Thank you Total Image!! Pros: personalized tan, one on one consultation more
