Dr. Klyman has been my children's pediatrician since they were babies. They are now 28, 19 and my 13 year old is still a patient. The staff is wonderful, especially Cindy and Barb! You can't go wrong choosing them as your children's doctor office more

Dr. Klyman desk clerk turned me away and said that she is not taking new clients at this time even though i have a very good ins. I then requested to speak to the Dr. one-on-one. I told her that I was and older first time mother and I wanted the best Dr. for my son. She gave me a doctors visit that day 4 yrs. ago and found my son had a heart murmor. She is a great Dr. and she takes her time to hear whats going on with your child. On one case my son had a very bad ear infection which he needed surgery for. She stayed on top of it all. She was our doctor with our first baby. Our daughter had jaundice. Rather than using phototherapy in the hospital, which quickly eliminates the problem, she sent us home and told us to just expose her to indirect light. She was jaundice for over 3 weeks. This doctor didn't explain how sleepy jaundice makes a baby. So, at a month old, we were having serious problems with breastfeeding. Rather than recommending I go to a lactation consultant or that I pump, she told me to take a supplement and drink dark beer. Then the doctor told us to come back a month later. At that point, my daughter was literally starving! She was my first, and I didn't know what I was doing. But the doctor should have known what she was doing! My daughter is fine. She is eight years old now, smart and wonderful, but Kyman caused unnecessary problems for me and my daughter, and she ran the risk of causing her great harm! There are better peds out there. Don't take the chance of this doctor harming your child. more

Dr. Klyman is wonderful with my kids. My daughter was born with a congenital defect - a cleft palate and she referred us only to the best specialists when we told her we were willing to drive. They really were the top of their field. She's 9 now and doing great! more

Dr. Klyman first examined my son as a newborn 18 years ago. I now have 3 additional children who are also patients of Dr. Klyman. Dr. Klyman is simply the BEST! In our 18 year history with her, she has always been 100% correct with all diagnoses and has never made a mistake with any prescriptions. We are so very grateful to be her patients. Dr. Klyman shows true compassion and is extremely thorough in her explanations. I know Dr. Klyman will always remember me as the new mom who bought evian water on a daily basis to rinse out my newborn son's bottles and pacifiers. I have sure learned a lot over the years! more

The Doctors at Dr. Klymans office are amazing. While Dr. Klyman is our primary pediatrician, we have had the need to also use their allergist and several other doctors. Dr. Klyman did our first childs initial wellcheck four days after she was born, the appointment was on a Sunday and she was thorough and patient. Her vast experience makes her a pediatrician worth the time and effort. They are busy, expect to HAVE to be on time, that is one thing they do not mess around with. Dr. Klyman was my twins first pediatrician. She went above and beyond her duties as a doctor with my daughter who at the time we did not know her diagnosis. She was always caring and genuinely concerned about my twins and also my well being with all the stuff we were going thru. She always returned my calls, always was available for us to come in even at a moments notice. My twins are now 24 yrs old but I will never forget Dr. Klyman. It was a sad day when our insurance changed and she was not in their list of doctors. more

We were turned away twice from them, first time was due to our newborn daughter not being on our insurance on time, Second time because we were 15min late on a rain day and we called before time. Both times she needed her vaccinations. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, find someone else qualified and closer to your house... They don't care about you child... Only Money and the end of the day when its time to clock out more

This doctor will not see patients on a cash basis....My graddaughter was very sick and I told them I would pay at time of service and they would not see a sick child! more

My daughter is a "wanna be Dr. Klyman," though she is terribly shy when she sees her. Dr. Kylman saved my daughter from malnutrition/breastfeeding gone wrong, the first week of my daughter's life. Our family doctor wouldn't have seen our daughter until a week later, which would have been too late. Not only was she informative throughout from the 2 times she visited us directly after our daughter was born, but she was immediate in making sure our daughter was well and insisting on seeing her within that first week at her office. Since then, I've trusted her completely. She needs to write a book with all her knowledge for new parents like me. My OBGyn had recommended Dr. Klyman because his kids all went to her. I've never been so thankful. more

We love Dr. Klyman-Friend and all the doctors in her practice. She is the best pediatrician in that she is direct, to the point, but at the same time caring, and has a kindness in her heart. There always seems to be a balance. You want a doctor that is young in that they are up to date on all the current best practices and procedures, but at the same time you want an older doctor that has the hands on experience. Dr. Klyman offers both! When she is in the office she is always available for us, but at the same time if she's not there the practice is always able to accommodate with another Doctor in the practice, and each one has there own strength. Don't go anywhere else if you live in Torrance. more

She is the best pediatrician that I have ever seen or met. This recommendation comes from myself and 5 other family members and friends of mine that use her. The only drawback is that at my age, she can't be my own doctor!!! Also, she doesn't take new patients...I've tried!!! more

If you are looking for a pediatrician she is the best!!!! I have taken my 2 kids to her since they were 1 year old.Now my kids are 18 and 14, and unfortunately we moved to Sacramento, but anytime they get sick, Dr Klyman is the first person in my mind. I drive from Sacramento to Torrance when I have to without a blink.She is caring, compassionate, and treats each and every patient like hee very own child. I would recommend her to ANYONE! more

Dr Klyman is just the best doctor I could have for my daughter. She is caring, extremely professional and super smart lady.They do not make doctors like her anymore. I feel so blessed to have her as Briana's pediatrician.She loves her so much. She looks forwards to visit Dr. Klyman whenever she gets a boo-boo. Her office staff are so nice and helpful. Since day one I have had nothing, but the best impression .Everyone does a great job. more

In my opinion and experience, you just CANNOT find a better pediatrician than Dr. Klyman. She is warm, caring, friendly, attentive, thorough, VERY experienced, knowledgable and is easily the hardest working doctor in showbusiness! Can you believe that with the birth of BOTH of my babies, it was not uncommon for Dr. Klyman to pop into my hospital room to check in on them at 11pm? 3am? Once a day, every day- sometimes 2...and my children were in perfect health! She will tell you how beautiful your baby is, how special he/she is and what a wonderful parent you are. She will reassure you when you are worried or unsure and she will make sure that your child gets the kind of unbelivable care that every child *should* have (and sadly doesn't). I actually cried when we moved out of the neighborhood and couldn't have Dr. Klyman anymore. The only complaints I would have would be that her office is VERY busy (still- you can always get a same day appt when needed) and her front office staff are usually very incompetent. Her nurses and back office staff are fantastic- but the girls who answer the phones and take your copayments are pretty much useless. If you phone in and get put on hold for more than 15 minutes- hang up and call back again because they forgot about you. Happens ALL THE TIME :( more
