Torrance Bakery

This is a nice bakery with good cakes, don't know if we are going to go with them, only because we need to check out other places since this was only the 2nd place we checked out. more

I was forced to go to Torrance Bakery through my reception location. Our preliminary experience with them was very satisfactory. However, I designed my cake with one of their cake designers, and the cake that was waiting for me at my reception was nothing like the cake I ordered. It was very tasty - but it looked nothing like it was supposed to. When I spoke to the manager in the cake department, they simply said that there was a mistake in inputing the order on their end and that they could give me a $100 refund and a $25 gift certificate to Torrance Bakery. I was very upset with this response. It in no way made up for the fact that I didn't get the cake I designed. Brides-to-be, if you do go to Torrance Bakery (which I would highly recommend against), make sure you double then triple check your order! more

I think their cakes are absolutely amazing!! I've been going to them for the past few years and have never been dissappointed. My favorite is a white cake with white icing...the filling is this white creme and chocolate chips...oh so good! I would recommend them to anyone I know. Too bad my birthday only comes once a year!! Well, this is a standard bakery, nothing special. I know someone who works there. They gave her a cake for her birthday to share with family and friends. That cake was the most disgusting excuse for good. It was old and had a gross taste. You would think for an employee that wanted to ""buy"" one and was told, oh no here's one just for you.
