friendly people and good work 11/6/2008

I got in a minor fender bender while traveling through the area, and I found this place online. They were very friendly from the get-go and worked with me to figure out what options I had to get my car fixed. Overall, I found them to be very helpful since this was my first time having to deal with a car wreck. Besides being friendly and helpful, the work was done really well and in time! Pros: friendly workers, on time, helpful more

Great Service, Best Body Shop 11/6/2008

After getting in a horrible accident, my insurance recommended this body shop and I decided to go there not only because of its convenient location here in Santa Ana, but because I had heard good things about it from friends. From the first day I got there, the staff was very nice to me, they let me know that they would take care of everything. They told me that my car would not be ready for about 3 weeks, and as a college student I was in desperate need of a car to go to school and work. Well they supplied with a loaner car; I was more than appreciative. I really can't talk enough about all the staff, they were just so helpful and amazing. This might sound surreal, but at a time when I was down, they were really there to do all they could. After 3 weeks, my car was ready just as they had said. I have a 2007 Black Toyota Corolla and when I got my car back I swear it looked like a 2008 model. It looked brand new, not only was it repaired, but it was washed, wax, and cleaned from the inside. I was taken back by that because I did not expect for them to go above and beyond. Since my experience with Top Finish, I have recommended them to everyone I know. I literally met the nicest people by accident. Pros: Satisfied, Great Staff, Amazing Service, On time more

Excellent service, very professional 11/6/2008

I had my Mustang convertible repainted and fix some scratches and dents, and the work Top Finish did was outstanding, and the life time warranty they gave me gives me a peace of mind, if the paint needs repair I just take the car to Top Finish and they will fix it.\r I also liked the fact that the mechanic inspected the car and told me of a couple of mechanical potential problems that I need to take care of, but at a different shop, since they are only a body shop, which I did and I'm glad I did it, otherwise I could end up being stranded on the highway with a drive shaft missing.\r They finish the work during the time they originally told me, two weeks, and they arranged for a rental car at a discount rate, since this work was not covered by my insurance.\r I would highly recommend Top Finish to anybody, their service and workmanship is superb, in fact I already sent a couple of friends to Top Finish to work on their cars and they are also very satisfied. Pros: Professional service, great workmanship, life time warranty more

Irresponsible body shop in Santa Ana 12/13/2007

Top finish was recommended to me by my insurance company since it was very close to where I live. Top finish orginally estimated that my car would be done in no more than 3 weeks. It ended up that I picked up my car after 10 weeks from my accident. I was driving on a rental for 10 weeks. Every single time when I called them regarding on my car, all they did was blaming the dealership, saying that they cant fix the car because of the dealership problem, they would never take a responsibility!! \r \r They called me at least 4 times to tell me that my car will be ready, but when I got there to pick up my car... my car wasnt ready. My car was neither missing a part, or the worker dropped my gas tank door at the very last minute! Why would you tell someone to pick up their car if it wasnt???? The people there are also un-helpful and rude. Especially a girl called ""Anna"", she promised me that she will call me back in one hour and ended up never call me back, I always have to call them to keep myself update! She would raise her voice when she was talking to you and be all mean. Very unprofessional. Another estimator guy called ""Jaime' is also very un-professional and irrespsonsible. I was talking to him on the phone about the fact they are not following their ""lifetime gaurantee"" policy, they would not take my car back and fix a minor problem. However, on their lifetime gaurantee policy clearly explained that if anytime the customer are not satisfied by the result or if any part were fix, they will gladly take it back and fix it. In my experience, they denied it. He even told me that if I keep talking about this, he is going to hang up on me??? what the heck? Is that how you guys do business??? They are ridiculous!!\r All they want is to make money from the insurance company! \r Cons: crazy delay, bad customer service, rude attitude more

Good Work, but Not Spectacular 6/14/2007

Top Finish was recommended to me by my insurance agent after some research on-line indicating their competitor Sterling Collision Center having horrible delays.\r \r Got in a minor Fender Bender requiring about $4,000 of work replacing a bumper and a hood plus miscellaneous attachment parts . Figuring that I didn't want to deal with the hassle of a long delay for such a minor repair, I decided against Sterling due to their horrible wait time.\r \r Well..... the work is good (I wasn't terribly impressed probably b/c I expected perfection from such a minor repair only involving replacement parts), but I didn't get the speedy turn around that was promised me during the estimate (4 days). \r \r When they called me to pick up my car after 10 days of repair, I showed up to find the car missing a fog light cover. (Why would you call me to tell me my car was done when it's still missing a part?). The dealership was once again blamed for not being able to deliver the part on time. Needing the car for the weekend, I decided to take the car w/o the fog light cover and was promised that the requisite part will arrive the next day. Needless to say, that 1 day turned into 1 week, and I am still driving around in a car without a fog light cover.\r \r Admittingly, my delay was partially due to inability of the dealer to deliver some parts on time, but I felt like I was never given an honest estimate on time. I had to call them daily to confirm completion of my car, and each time they tried to shift the blame to the dealership for not being able to get the requisite parts.\r \r Pros: Nice People, Nice Repair, Nice Facility Cons: Constant Delay more
