Don't listen To Those Whom Rant!! 9/24/2010

Tod Dog was a fun time. I've been there on numerous occasions, and have never had a bad one, everybody is curtious, yes you do have to buy you food from a different entity, however not only do they pass that savings on to you but I don't know were you can get a real chicken breast (boneless) sandwich for only $3, sometimes you have to understand that when you buy food from a restaurant, you spend more because of the overhead, but not dealing with the overhead you can pass that saving along to the customer and o yea the bar is beautiful inside and out,,,Rich C more

Good Time at TOP DOG 6/15/2010

Went to Top Dog on a regular Wednesday night and had a great time. The two bar areas they have (indoor and outdoor) are huge and the bartenders are always there to serve you. When I visited Top Dog with my friends the other night and saw the different menu, I did not know what to expect. 99 Cent for a Burger and $2.99 for Steak on a stick. I thought to myself "This food can not be that good for so cheap!" Well I was very wrong! I ordered a Chicken Sandwich and my friend had a burger. We were speechless, the food was GREAT! Should be there this weekend so I can't wait! Pros: Bar areas and drink selection more

Tuesday at Top Dog 6/15/2010

Went to Top Dog last night for their Wired Tuesdays and it was a very fun time. My friends took me there because I've never been and I am definitely coming back! The crowd is awesome where ever you are whether it's upstairs in the club, downstairs at the main bar, or at the outside bar, which is awesome by the way! If you want to have fun on any night without breaking the bank, Top Dog should be first on your list. Pros: Awesome club atmosphere and great crowd Cons: None more

Top Dog = Awesome 6/8/2010

I must say, Top Dog is a pretty cool place to drink and have fun with friends. The area is huge and there's both an indoor bar area and an outdoor one when it's a nice night out. The drink selection is huge and the specials are right in line with other bars. The best part is the bar areas. They are so big that you will never find it hard to find a place to talk. I give it an A. Pros: atmosphere and bar area Cons: none more

Top Dog Is Great 6/2/2010

Went to Top Dog last week and I must say it is a pretty nice place. The bar area is really big and there's also a huge outdoor area where there's another bar and many places to sit and have conversations. There's always beer pong tables around and you'll never have trouble finding a place to sit. The drink selection and the drink specials are top notch and they even have specials that run all day. I will definitely be coming back to this place. Pros: Huge bar area and huge outdoor lounge area Cons: None more

A NEW Low in HORRIBLE 5/12/2010

A new Low in HORRIBLE has been achieved at the new Top Dog in Cherry Hill, NJ (formally Taylors). Where to start, it is so bad!!!! They just reopened in April 2010 as Top Dog - Same Owner as Taylors. The $1.49 1/2 pound cheeseburger is only a 1/2 pound if your foot is on the scale. It was ordered cooked medium. It was charcoal burnt well done. The steak sandwich is a 5 inch doughy roll with 4 pieces of shoe leather meat (1/2"x1/2"x3"), some onion, and maybe a half piece of cheese for $2.99. Real Crap. The diet pepsi were essentially carbonated brown water - very little cola syrup for $2.50 each and NO FREE refills. The cheese fries - where is the cheese. We asked for a glass of water and was told they only SELL bottled water - so no glass of water is available. If you want garbage to eat, then this place is your place. BTW, the food is self service and cash only. You have to go to counter to place order, pick up your own food and bus your table. I am going to Chammps in Marlton where you get great food and service and a free glass of water. Pros: None Cons: Everything is Horrible. more

New Name = BAD Servive, BAD Beer Selection 5/17/2007

I have been to Top Dog in the past, and figured I'd try out the new "Taylors". We went for dinner on a Thursday night, and there might have been 20 people (if that) in the bar area. We were promptly seated at our table in the almost empty dining area, where we sat for 15 mins before a manager asked us if we were being helped yet. Our waitress even served the table directly next to us. After the 6 waitresses argued over who had to serve us, the one that did was not very apologetic. We tried to order two drinks, and much to my dismay THEY DO NOT CARRY MILLER LITE. What kind of bar is this?! They didn't have it on draft OR bottle. The food was decent, and the prices were reasonable, but the staff was incompetent and I will not return to a bar that doesn't serve a full beer menu. Pros: Outdoor Area Cons: Staff and Beer Selection more

Increasingly Disappointing 12/13/2004

We used to go to Top Dog all the time. With 3 kids it's difficult to find restaurants that aren't fast food and are family friendly. They used to have a great menu, great prices and kids eat free. Then we noticed everytime we went to menu selections had less and less to chose from. Now it is just a small "pub style" menu and the childrens menu has been eliminated. I guess most of the money comes from the club and the bar so they didn't really care about families. more

A little slice of heaven 4/18/2003

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The bartenders are quick on their feet and know how to mix a drink well. The food is awesome and the serivce is prompt. The live bands are usually good, and it is never overly-corwded. They have an open deck, an AWESOME dance floor, and a DJ who knows how to mix like a pro. The crowd is anywhere from 21-30, but everyone is real friendly and never cops an attitude. A great place to meet people, or just hang with friends. You'll pay standard bar fare, but they don't cut corners with their drinks - you'll get a nice buzz fairly quick. Parking can be kind of tight, but there is a huge lot across the street should you fail to find parking in their lot. Do yourself a favor - "find out what all the barking's about" Pros: Good crowd, Awesome DJ, Great Drinks Cons: I can't go everynight more

young kids 1/16/2003

entirely too many X-d young kids. sorry but seeing who can get drunk faster (how about lets see who can puke faster) downstairs at the bar good crowd. forget about upstairs. and why do you have to pay a cover to go to a different floor? more

The Prophecy 12/22/2002

The crowd is fun and wild. Drink up downstairs then go upstairs and hit the dance floor. Food is great and quick to come. Finish a drink and get the next one in seconds. Excellent place to go outside of Philly. Pros: Parking, Inexpensive, Fun Crowds more

Triple Whammy!!! 12/19/2002

I liked the mixed crowd. This place has something for everyone --the bar scene, the sports scene and the club scene. If you're into all three of them (like I am) in a relaxed atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Pros: drink specials, multiple tv's, good food Cons: better music more

Fun Times at the Dawg 7/24/2002

Top Dog is definately one of the best bars in the area. Between dancing upstairs, the bikini contests, the outdoor tiki bars, and the sports bar inside...how can you go wrong. To top it all off they have $1.00 drinks all night on tuesday's and Thursday's until close...which is at 3am not 2am like most local bars. There is somethign here for everybody. The best thing though is that it is always a beautiful crowd. You looking to meet someone or just want to see who you are missing out on...stop on in, we'll be at the tiki bar by the DJ. Pros: Great Parking, Hot Crowd, Good Music more

Fun place! 7/17/2002

Top Dog is always a good time, there is something there for everyone. Downstairs is a sports bar and live music, outside is a patio/deck with live bands in the summer, and upstairs is a dance club. This place is the best thing to do in the south jersey/philly area. No cost for parking, no cover (unless you want to go upstairs to the club) Plenty of good looking people, good food, and great drinks! My fiance and I frequent this place often! Pros: close, free parking, moderate prices Cons: snobby staff-at times more

  • In Short
Dine and unwind by the coy pond on the tropical patio. Grab a drink inside at the l arge wooden bar beautifully accented overhead by mechanical palm leaves ventilating the room. Dance the night away in the lively club upstairs. The main dining area maintains a sports club vibe--large screen TV's, loud music, game room--with an added upscale flair. Creative dishes are served alongside burgers, nachos and pizzas that typically headline bar food fare.
