Professional and provides great customer service. 7/18/2011

I've been taking my old Audi to Too Quicks German Auto Service for about four years. I've always gotten great service there. And now my daughter has an older Audi, and she takes her car there too for service. They are so nice and provide great service and their pricing is much better than a dealer. We'd recommend them to anybody! more

They get my highest recommendation. 7/6/2011

I absolutely would recommend Too Quicks German Auto Service. I've had work done there for a long period of time. I've known Chuck Johnson, the owner, since he was probably 19 or 20 years old, and I've known Robert Fish since he was probably 30 years old. I wouldn't have anybody else work on my car. I've been mixed up with German cars since I was 20 years old, and I'm 68 now. Of the two best mechanics I've known in my life, Chuck Johnson is one of them. I'm really picky about who works on my cars, and I wouldn't have just anybody work on them. Robert is an excellent service writer. He knows the business and mechanic side of things. They also have a kid in there working for them, Red, and he also is a great service writer and a bright kid. Over the years, I've had 3 or 4 of my cars worked on at Too Quicks. If something is wrong, and it very seldom is, they take care of it. They have excellent customer service, and Chuck is always there to quality control the quality of the cars that go out of the shop. I refer people to them quite often, and they get my highest recommendation. Michael Gideon more

they do good work, when they get around to it. 8/19/2009

I took my car to Too Quick's to have the catalytic converter replaced. I called ahead and told them about my car so they could order the converter and have it ready. Once I had dropped my car off, I got a phone call an hour or so later saying they needed to order another part to be able to put on the converter properly. I went and picked it up and made an appointment for the next week, a couple days after my part was supposed to be delivered. I took my car in at 8:15 this morning, confirmed with the guy at the desk it would only take a couple hours and be ready by noon so I could get to work, and he told me it wouldn't be a problem. I called to check on things at 11:30 and was told the part had just arrived and they were getting started! However they did tell me they could do the work fairly quickly, even if it wasn't ready right at 12. I showed up and watched through the window as the mechanic took lots of time just looking at my car and scratching his head, he didn't seem to be at all interested in getting done quickly, even though I let the desk staff know I really needed to get to work. The car wasn't ready until 2, which was an hour after I was supposed to be at work. I didn't get so much as apology for how long it took, and when we asked why they didn't tell us it would take so long, the guy acted like it was my fault the part wasn't delivered on time. Also, the final cost was about $50 more than I was told it would be. But the repair was done correctly. Be careful about using these guys. Pros: quality workmanship Cons: slow, terrible customer service. more

Never take your car here 2/3/2009

I have a VW GTI, I called for a quote on a 20k service, was told they hadn't done them yet, but knew they were coming up. I was given a quote of $165 to $185 for the service. When I called and scheduled the appointment, I reconfirmed my quote and was told yes that sounds about right. Took our car in, went to pick up the car and the total was $466.40. Told us that we needed to have our spark plugs replaced every 10k. When asked about the quote, we were told the gentleman that had given us the quote wasn't in. We had to pay the cost. When we were home we pulled our owners binder out and found out that the spark plugs don't need to be placed until 60k miles, and other services they had performed were incorrect. I called the following morning to speak to the gentleman that had given me the quote. He told me that he was wrong the computer softwear they use is updated all the time and since the time I have called, it must have updated and he was sorry. I told him but you gave me a quote and no one even bothered to call me to let me know it was more. He said.. I don't know what you want me to do. I asked about a break as the quote was off, refused. So I just feel that our car was a training car for their techs and not a very good one. Anyone with a german auto pay the dealer at least they are up front and honest with you. I will let every I know not to use them. What they claim and what they are, are two different things. more
