I went here for oil for our boat and I ended up walking out with a tow rope, a brand new tube and fishing hooks for my son. I must say the service was great. Brenda assisted me all the way through on what kind of oil I needed. Needless to say I will be stopping by again. That's for sure. more

I stored my boat here last winter. I got it right before the 4th of July. It was in much better condition when I got it back thanks Tony's I will be back in a month to store it again! more

I was told by a friend of mine to come on here and write a good review today.\r \r I haven't been on this site ever but I highly recommend Tony's Berkshire Boats for all your boating needs.\r \r My friend is always talking about how they fixed his boat for him. He always said it was a headache for him to maintain but in the end it's worth it we take his kids out on his Sea Ray tubing. Lots of fun and knowing that your boat isn't going to break down makes it less of a headache. Call them today! more

My Boston Whaler was in rough condition. It had some serious issues with the motor and some of the electrical wiring was damaged due to the weather conditions. I brought my boat down to Tony's and it was all fixed up and ready to go the following week. I was surprised to find out my wiring was fixed and my motor was running very nice! I heard alot of rumors about this place but I had to find out for myself what was really up. I was very satisfied they even put in a new battery for me for no extra charge. Thanks to them I am out on Onota lake again with my kids fishing in my favorite hotspots that is important to me because me and my kids don't see much of each other during the school season. When summer comes we spend a lot of time together. What better way then to take them out fishing! Thanks AJ I will be going there soon for bait! more

My jet ski broke down a month ago so I decided to give these guys a try...I had made a couple phone calls at first I didn't have any luck on reaching the owner...But the next day I received a message on my answering machine...So I called back the next day and AJ told me to bring it down to the shop and he would take a look at it... Later in the evening that day a gentleman delivered my Jet Ski and it was in great condition! I was very satisfied with their service and my son was as well he is on the lake again having a blast...Thank you Tony's Boats! Your Business is our pleasure! more

I have been in business with them for 7 years now! I have never been disappointed in there service! I own a small cottage in Stockbridge on the lake and every year I store my boat at Tony's for the winter... I always forget to clean it before he picks it up and before I know it it's ready for the summer! He always does an oil change on my boat and he cleans it up nice too... Not too mention they always fill my boat up with gas even when I forget too upon receiving my boat back from the winter... These guys are excellent the best in the Berkshires in my opinion! You should store your boat here knowing that its in good hands! more

Me and my friends wanted to buy a boat together we went to every shop in town...We settled on Tony's Berkshire Boats we thought we were out of luck looking for a new pontoon boat...Chance's are they had a brand-new one in stock...We bought it and AJ even delivered it too the lake for us... Since then we been on many midnight strolls on the lake and caught some nice size fish! If your looking for a great deal then head on down and talk to this man. He is always assuring and any problems you have, he will help you solve them! 5 stars!!! more

I just purchased my 9th boat from Tony's Berkshire Boats and cannot believe that anyone would have anything BAD to say about them.\r I have done business with Tony's for 20 years and they have always gone above and beyond for me. My family and friends all use Tony's Berkshire Boats for all their boating needs and I have never heard a bad story from them. \r These negative tips about Tony's probably have more to the story than is being told. \r I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TONYS BERSKHIRE BOATS FOR ALL YOUR BOATING NEEDS. more

We scheduled an appointment and brought our boat to Tony's last July (2010) for service. After a week we called to check on the status and they had not even looked at it yet. We were told it would be another couple of days and they would call. They never called. I called dozens of times and AJ never returned any of our calls. I took several trips down to the dealer and was told it was still being worked and they were having issues figuring out about a specific problem the boat was having. Finally in October I had enough and went to pick it up. AJ promised he would fix it and store it for free for the winter. The following May rolled around and I called Tony's to pick it up. When I went to pick it up, it was still not fixed and appeared to have sat out all winter. The seats are completely black with mold and the carpet destroyed. Tony's agreed to clean it and send it to another Marina to get fixed. It is now July 16th 2011 and I still have yet to hear back from Tony's. I have called repeatedly and get no call back. I cannot even pick the boat up because the boat is at another Marina supposedly. I will NEVER buy or do business with Tony's Berkshire Boats again. I have lost two summers of boating at this point because of the complete idiots running that business...if you can even call it running a business. My next step is the BBB. Tony's is not even worth a 1 star rating. DO NOT do business with these clowns! more

I bought a new bow rider from them in November '09. It had and stated in the bill of sale a ""496"" Mercruiser. When they delivered the boat in December it was a totally different boat. It had a ""350"" Mercruiser and a completely different Hull number. When I called them to tell them they told me it was a mistake and the 496 was a different boat and what I really bought was the 350. In addition it was suppose to be delivered, blocked, winterized and shrink wrapped which was paid for separately. Of which only the delivery took place. The delivery guy couldn't get it off the trailer and block it. So we had to launched it and have a different boat tow company trailer it back to the house and block it. I have reported this to the Mass. Attorney Generals Office and to the consumer affairs dept of Mass. They have not received a response. So if you purchase from this dealer check them out first. Pros: NOTHING Cons: CONSUMER FRAUD more

I purchased a 2000 40 hp 4 stroke Yamaha from Tony's Birkshire Boats in Pittsfield, MA on ebay which was described as VERY VERY NICE, WELL MAINTAINED, etc. Paid the next day. Had to BEG the seller to ship the motor to me even though it was to my expense. Motor arrived two weeks later basically DOA and damaged in transit due to poor packaging. Motor was not secured in crate and there were large gashes in shaft and under cowling. Not a 2000 model but a 1999 model, no propeller and oil was left in the motor even though a piece of tape on the back of the motor said ""no oil"". $1575 for motor, $600 shipping, $400 for controls locally, $150 for prop locally, $325 so far for repairs. When motor arrived, it BARELY ran. I had the local Yamaha mechanic remove and clean the carbs and got it running and idling well. Took it out for sea trials and it wouldn't go over 1,000 rpms. Called seller again and asked if he wanted to make it right and he basically said that I should be happy with what I got and that I got a $5,000 motor. I could have gotten a 2008 40 hp 4 stroke Yamaha installed locally with 3 yr warranty for $5,300. The owner's son (AJ) has absolutely no work ethic whatsoever!
