Buying a car at Tonkin Nissan was easy and painless. This was our first new car purchase and the salesman Tony was friendly and he was very knowledgable about the car we wanted to purchase. We were never pressured to sign and they worked with our needs. We feel we paid a good price for the car. They provided us with different payment options and got us an extra rebate even thuough we didnt technically qualify. The customer service at Tonkin Nissan is excellent and we would recommend them over any Nissan dealer in the country. more

Buying a car at Tonkin Nissan was an easy and enjoyable experience. This was our first brand new car purchase. The sales staff were friendly and knowledgable. I arrived and was looking for an Altima. The salesman Hendrix was amazing he showed me various Altimas and thoroughly explained every feature, mechanical, electrical, and safety component. He talked to me about the different trims and the advantages to each. He showed me hybrid's, four cylinders, V6's, and coupes. He let me test drive any one that I wanted. He was never pushy. He simply brought me quotes and various pricing options based on different amounts of money down. I selected the extended warrantee and gap insurance through Nissan so I can take it to any Nissan dealer if there is ever a problem. I finally splurged and went with the loaded sedan, leather, power everything, BOSE audio, etc. They brought down the price quite significantly and contacted my credit union to acquire my loan on the spot. I was able to choose my interest rate and the length of my loan, and since it was with my credit union I new exactly how it would be set up. They even handled all the DMV paperwork. They seemed to care about me as a customer, a person excited about buying a new car, and my vehicle too. The sales manager was friendly and talked to me like a regular person and recognized that I had a specific car in mind and a limited amount of money to spend. Hendrix was the best part about the customer service. When I got the car, Hendrix spent a whole hour showing me how to work each and every function in the car, he was sincerely excited for me. They had it washed and cleaned inside and before I drove it home. This man was so friendly I even stayed after a little bit to talk to him about his new baby and my son, and the joy of having kids. Then we took a picture and video together with the car and I was able to post it to Facebook. I drove down 1 month later to have them put my new plates on. I have been back to have the tires rotated, the oil and filters changed, and all fluids topped off. They were quick and thorough, at a price much better than Jiffy Lube or Oil Can Henry's. I could not have been more pleased with the whole process. more

This is what buying a car should be like. State of the art facility, honest straight forward employees, no surprises. The advertised deal was the deal. My salesman, Rick Gilpin, was thorough, professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. His manager, Sean, was there to make sure everything came together. There were no games played by anyone. John Nguyen was the best Finance guy I've encountered in many, many years of car buying. I drove my new Xterra home. I don't care where you live in the greater Portland area. Maybe Beaverton is much closer. Don't be fooled. Save yourself the time, aggravation and frustration. Drive to Wilsonville. Visit Tonkin Nissan. You won't regret it. more

We got the dream truck a few years ago from Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in Portland. It was a great experience. I wanted to trade in my Pruis for something a little larger and quieter and found a 2010 Altima hybrid by searching the Tonkin website. It was Ron Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville. Everyone was super. NO pressure to buy a higher priced model, and the price we got for the trade in was quite fair, given the work it would have needed for us to try to sell it. We enjoyed our time with Hendrix a lot and got a picture of him and me with my cute new car. more

..than deal with those crooks. They lied about how much it would take to fix my trade, they lied about the payments, and wasted my time and money. Thought they had a dumb--- country boy to stick it to. We'll see what the BBB, FTC, and state AG's office have to say. Avoid David Moore if you're dumb enough to go. Little piece of human garbage. I'll never contact a Tonkin dealer again. Where's the -1 star button? more

Just got my brand new 2010 Nissan Sentra from here. Brian Lee is a phenomenal salesman. He totally went above and beyond anything that I have encountered while car shopping. Not only was I car shopping, while driving one of the cars up to Portland, we also went to two other lots and looked at cars for my parents. If you need to buy a car, go to him. Even though I was the only one who bought that night, my parents are still shopping exclusively with Tonkin just to keep working with Brian. For that he gets 4 stars... Being able to spend that much time with me in a car.. gets him 5! Thanks Brian! You are single-handedly turning the car buying experience around for the better! I have a really hard time going to car dealers just because I don't like the hassle with pushy sales people, but they were really relaxed. He asked a couple of questions to find out what we needed and showed us lots of choices. I was impressed that he was able to stick to the price range and style that I specified, (not to mention the fact that my kids where there too asking all sorts of (crazy) questions). When we finally decided on the vehicle it was over what we wanted to spend (because it's autmatic), but he was able to knock $1900 off so we could buy it. I recently was buying a Nissan Murano from Ron Tonkin and was GUARANTEED that my credit report would be ran once because I only wanted a loan from a specific lender. Well 2 months later after not buying the car from them I received 11 letters on the mail from 11 different lenders about the inquiry from Ron Tonkin Nissan. I contacted the Sales dept to have the inquires removed and was just given attitude with no resolution. Its a wonder car dealerships have such bad reputations. Take your money elsewhere and get everything in writing!!! more
