Known first for their chili but now for their live music 7/27/2009

Tolbert's has become the place to go on Friday and Saturday nights in Grapevine. They have some great cover bands and a great crowd. Pros: Great cover bands, great location and good food Cons: Can be crowded on the weekends more

Amazing Chili 3/26/2009

Tolberts is an great restaurant. Their chili is definitely what they are famous for even though I would argue some of their other food is equally as good. Their sour cream enchiladas, their tortilla soup, the nachos and their jalapeno poppers are some other favorites. Pros: Good atmosphere, Great location, Amazing Chili Cons: There can be a decent wait for a table on weekend nights more

Terrific sour cream enchiladas! 9/6/2008

Tolbert's in Grapevine definitely has the best sour cream green enchiladas that I've ever had! They grill and lightly season the chicken, and it's not that shredded stuff, either. (They cut it up into small chunks, which gives it even more flavor!) The verde sauce they use has just enough of a spicy tang to it to be delicious without being overwhelming. This is not the usual, ho-hum Tex-Mex that you would get at the chains around here. No, Tolbert's is reminiscent of Southwestern cuisine that you would find in Santa Fe or Albuquerque. Pros: Great service! Excellent food at a reasonable price. Cons: Need to offer more seafood choices. more

You can tell from the pictures exactly how relaxed this place is and I love it! We eat here as often as we can. The service is great and the atmosphere is like being at home, so it's very enjoyable. more

The Terlingua Burger is awesome 5/17/2008

The Terlingua Chili burger is excellent! Had a Black Shiner with this burger and it was out of sight. The chili has some great mild chili pepper heat and the flavor was delicious. Fresh cut onions and melted cheese increased my motivation to inhale this burger. Service was great too. TRY IT! Pros: Great food, great location in historic Grapevine more

A fun restaurant with a capability to handle a group. If you break out the restaurant as a specific type, I rate this restaurant almost 9 out of 10. This ""casual relaxed atmosphere"" restaurant is located in the historic area of Grapevine with a lot of activities surrounding it. Sometimes the restaurant has music. My restaurant contact for the restaurant was outstanding. Just be sure to contact them before hand with a larger group. I have found that lots of locals are now visiting the restaurant. The restaurant can handle all ages. I found that there was modest pricing on most the menu items. Pros: Management and wait staff service, Ambience, Tasty food Cons: Variety of Food, Parking more
