Good sushi! 2/23/2006

Niki's is the place to go if you want the traditional real deal sushi. It is a hole in the wall sushi place - that has the best sushi I have EVER eaten - and I have eaten a lot of sushi. If you prefer the American flare and hosh posh that has made sushi the fad that it is then Niki's is not for you because you will not be able to appreciate the establishment that it is. I love the place and will continue to go back even if it is not ritzy - I can trade that for good food anyday! more

this resturant provide really good sushi that's traditional, its pricey but what japanese resturant isn't. service was slow but the server made it really fun. exceptional setting would highly recommend for those into tradition not comtempary sushi Pros: good sushi, traditional setting more

A True Original - Highly Recommended 9/16/2005

I don't understand the negative reviews. This is the best damn Japanese food ever! I've had world travelers tell me this is the best sushi they've ever eaten. Prices are pretty average and the pieces are huge. The waitstaff and sushi chefs are real characters, especially Pat who always has a great joke to tell you. This is not fast food! Since sushi is labor intensive the sushi chef gets a little backed up at peak hours Friday and some Saturdays. The ambience is authentic 70's, so no need for the retro furnishings of newer hip restaurants. Pros: Sushi, Ambience, Characters work there Cons: Not open Sun & Mon, bathrooms more

Nothing good to say... I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I did not like the smell; however, to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was my sensitive nose. Too pricy. Service slow. Horrible place. Overall the place turned me off. Pros: Location..., NOTHING ELSE! Cons: Food quality & smell, Service horrible, Price too high more

The tip was already added to the bill which was a definite insult to me. I suggest that this place be avioded at all cost. more
