I took my Honda Civic to the shop to get a valve adjustment and afterwards, they did an excellent job! I highly recommend this place to ANYone that needs car maintenance. They do EVERYTHING, except alignments. That nite, I went home in a friend's car and realized that I had left the house keys in the Civic!! Mark, the shop boss, was willing to drive back to his shop afterhours just so I could get in my house. As I said, highly recommended! more

I recently took my car to Tokyo Auto and tire for an oil change. I have been to several other places and i feel like they always rip me off. i even went to one place and they just took my money & didnt even change my oil!!! at tokyo auto i always get exactly what i came for, nothing more nothing less. & they always have great customer service! more

I must say I am a very happy customer. Tokyo Auto was really helpful in that they provided me with all the information and knowledge I needed to fix my vehicle. Being a young woman it can be very intimidating going into an auto shop for service. In some other places I've gone to I've felt taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge for cars. I've called almost every auto place out here and every single place tried to up sell me things that I did not need. When I came into Tokyo Auto the staff was really friendly and I felt like I could talk to them. They were there to help me, not to try and sell me additional things. The man who helped me, Mark, was very kind, good looking, and professional. He knew exactly what I needed and he beat the price that I was quoted everywhere else. Even though the wait wasn't long I didn't mind waiting because they had movies I watched on a flat screen and all the coffee I could ask for. Thank you Tokyo Auto!!! more

A friend of mine told me when my check engine light came on on my van that Tokyo was a good place to go. Boy was that an understatement! I brought my Chevy Astro in for a diagnostic, and they were able to fix the problem. They didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. Since then I've come back several times and have had the chance to see how good their warranty is. I had an oil leak and went to see if it was under warranty. It was, the repairs were done quickly, and I was not charged a penny. I've been living here for the better part of 20 years, and this is the best warranty I've seen from any auto shop in the High Desert. more

I brought my car to Tokyo Auto for the brakes. They fixed them for the best price I could afford to get the job done. Nobody gave me a better price and everyone else said it would take longer than it did. more

When I bought my truck, used, it had a known minor transmission problem. After shopping around for prices and asking friends their impressions, I decided to take my Ford Ranger to Tokyo Auto. They were able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem with my transmission at a price that was a steal. 40000 miles later and I haven't had any more problems with my transmission. I took my 1994 Toyota Tercel to a Test Only Smog Check Station to get it smogged it ended up Gross Poluting. I then took it to a smog repair station in victorville they charged me $120.00 to diagnose why it failed. Just to tell me 15 minutes later i needed over $2000.00 in repairs because he said the engine was bad. The next day i took it to Tokyo Tire Auto Center they said they could fix it for $300.00 just by replacing the Catalytic converter and doing a tune up. They even took it to the Test Only for me and car passed with flying colors. I will always take my car to them for my smog checks and any future repairs it might need. more

The BEST auto shop anywhere. Mark is the most honest, friendly, and knowledgeable guys around. I went there today to get my car fixed. I had electrical, and transmission problems that were fixed. I shopped around for prices and Tokyo Auto gave me the best prices by far. My brother is a mechanic and said I saved probably $500 compared to the going rate. Not only that but I verified everything he told me with my brother and he was 100% right on. Mark will shop around for the best price possible, not the most profitable This was, without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had with car maintenance. I am thinking of getting the dent in my car repaired here just because I like these guys so much. on my way out, someone noticed that one of my brake lights was out. He replaced it FREE in no time at all. Go here. They deserve your money. more

Service was very personalized. They stayed lated to finish my Isuzu and waited for me to pick up cause I needed it to get to family's holiday get together. Will definitely go there again. more

I am one of those people that hate getting my car serviced. I am so worried about getting ripped off. Anyway, I was up for my 60k service for my Honda Accord. Upon meeting and talking to Mark, I just knew that he would take care of me and not rip me off. A little over an hour later my car was done for far less than I would have paid at the dealer. I would definitely recommend Tokyo Auto to everybody? more

I heard from a friend about a shop in Hesperia which has the best price for windshields anywhere. I took my truck to tokyo auto and was pleasantly suprised at how cheap their windshield prices really are! I paid $ 135.00 tax included for a professional job! I sure was stoked! Another local shop wanted over $300.00 for the same work! I was really impressed with the minor details, like how clean the job came out, the tech even vacuumed my floor, and my driver's door was difficult to open, and the guy even oiled my locks and hinges on both doors! I'm defenitely coming back if I need any more work! Thanks Marc for a great experience! I am telling everyone I know to take thier cars to you! more

I took my Honda Civic for a smog check here and it failed. I went through the diagnostic they offered for some overpriced amount and they told me what was wrong. I priced repairs and it was out of my budget. I went to a different automotive center for smog a few weeks later just to see what they said and sure enough the car passed. I asked them to check everything that Tokyo told me was wrong and the new shop I went to said everything was perfect, no problems. Tokyo would not refund my money for the smog or diagnostic. I reported them to the automotive bureau and they had received other complaints on them as well. more
