Todd move me at a last minute I had 2 storage rooms that we had to go threw his guys and him unloaded the rooms and got what I needed out and move me from Winston to Grenville SC . I tried to ran on monday Fed 31 2011 but it held off Todd told me that if it started to rain he would have to quite or have me sign a wavier but it held off till they got done and about a hour later it started and rain for 2 days. Todd Easy Moves had moved me twice and both were over 60 miles. Both moves went GREAT. We plan for the weather NEVER TRY TO MOVE IN THE RAIN IF YOU DO, EXPECT IT TO TAKE LONGER AND YOUR THINGS WILL GET WET, so on 1 of the moves we pushed the move till next day. Had 2 men and a truck move me and some how they lost a few things and broke some lamps because they didnt wrap enough. I have moved before and if I was going to start a new job you bet I WOULD HAVE WORK CLOTH with me. Say he wouldnt move them bet it was a Sunday, They were always on time and did what he said he would do. If you need a good mover then call Todd Easy Moves if you care about who comes in YOUR HOUSE, his people are checked out. back ground checks other movers dont do that so if you dont mine a criminal looking at YOUR thing then so be it!! 1 thing when you move that you need to think about is what happens if someone falls or get hurt will your home owner insurance take care of it? better check with them and if the weather bad bet they will be happy if someone falls and get hurt Todd will do everything to try to keep that from happen even if he has to cancel the moved. I made the mistake of hiring this company by the hour since when I moved the last time, it only took 5 hours for three guys found on the UHaul website to move us. Well, this time, Todd's guys showed up and moved so slowly that friends and family commented on it. They spent lots of time in the truck wrapping boxes with blankets??? It was drizzling that day so they quit at 3:30pm and refused to deliver or finish the move until two days later!!! We were not allowed to retrieve anything off the truck or to cancel the move. We felt they held our things hostage. My husband had to miss the first day at his new job because all his clothes were being held on the truck and they wouldn't allow us to retrieve them! We had to sleep on the cold hard floor of the new house and were late turning over the former house to our buyers because of this company. When they walked in two days later, they refused to move anything off the truck until they were paid in full. Because we had to turn the home over to the new owners the next day and the move was not complete and Todd's refused to work the next day, we had to rent an U-Haul truck and hire our own movers to finish that part of the move ourselves. So this 'Easy' move cost us a total of nearly $2500 to move only 12 miles in town. It was a traumatizing experience and I suggest you run fast and far from Todd's Easy Moves!
