I LOVE LIZ SHE'S MY NEW HAIR GIRL!!!!! 12/21/2010

wow...thats all i can say... when i called i was a little sceptic but liz was kind and really sounded like she wanted to help me. I had used a dye trying to get blonde all over...well u proably allready know what happend...needless to say she was so kind and fixed the color perfect and gave me a free haircut...they were all really nice and made me feel welcome and not stupid. so from now on i know where to go and it was so much more affordable than i thought!!! more

See "Magic Pam!" 12/18/2010

I've nicknamed stylist Pam Bongiorni "Magic Pam" because she took my hair from "disaster city" to "fabulousity." My hair was three shades darker than I wanted due to previous dye jobs (a couple by my own hand). Pam applied a special product that took out 90% of the oversaturated color. We then went over options for color and decided on a mid-range Level 6 (I was a Level 1 -- yikes!). Pam mixed up a special brew and the color came out absolutely beautiful - a dark caramel brown that complements my olive skin and dark eyes. Pam also cut my hair, and honestly it's among the top 5 haircuts I've ever had in my life. My hair is thick and has gotten a little coarse as I've hit my mid-40s. It tends to get bulky and heavy looking, especially when it's one length. Pam trimmed up my hair by leaving long layers with a few shorter layers around my face, She then texturized the ends with special scissors -- this took out the bulk from the ends and after a great blowout, the ends were nice and swingy. I love, love, love the look! I've been in search of a good stylist for about three years since my previous go-to gal moved out of state. Well, Pam is a GREAT stylist. She has a terrific eye for cutting and color. Believe me, my thick horse hair is a challenge, but Pam totally conquered it and totally understood what I wanted. And on top of that, she's one of the friendliest and funniest hair techs. I met Pam through my mom, who got her hair colored a beautiful honey shade. My mom's hair is thin and very dry, but Pam made it look so full and rich! The other stylists at TNT seem awesome as well. There is a wonderful positive vibe in this salon. Good thing, because I'm counting on seeing Pam for many years to come. She's my "Magic Pam" now! more

Love the Brazilian Blow Out! 7/10/2010

I have long, wavy hair, and Pam gave me the Keratin smoothing treatment ( got the 3 month version). My hair blows out straight in about 90% less time! And after about 5 weeks, I have found that my semi permanent color has been totally locked in... normally I would have a few gray roots popping out by now, but NOTHING! What an added bonus that I wasn't expecting :-) more

Go see Pam 6/15/2010

i have been going to see Pam now for at least 2 years, and she is so great. i can go in knowing exactly what i want or leave it up to her to decide something new and i always come out 100% pleased with the result! the color lasts more than 8 weeks in my hair which is great bc i cant always make it in like i should and her cuts grow out wonderfully as well. i highly recomennd you go see pam! shes great! Pros: great cut and hilites! Cons: parking can be tough sometimes more

Found a great stylist! 2/28/2010

I have lived in Oceanside for about a year now, i moved from the east coast with my husband who is in the military. I've gone to a few different places trying to find one good hair stylist, with no luck until i came onto this website and found a lot of great reviews about TNT. I called and tried to schedule an appointment with Lindsey, and found that she is no longer with TNT anymore and they assured me that Brittany would do a great job. When i came in for my appointment i did not have to wait around long, she was more than friendly, and she made me feel very comfortable (which in the past i have been very nervous about new people doing my hair) she gave me great ideas about coloring my hair, and not only fixed a bad hair cut, but she gave me the best hair cut i have ever had! I left feeling great about myself, my hair looked the best it ever has, and the color came out perfect! I couldn't wait for my husband to see my new look! ( and he loved it!) I have already referred some of the other military wives in my neighbor and they were more than happy as well! So if you are trying to find someone that is not only going to do a great job on your hair, but is going to give you a great experience while you're there, i recommend you see Brittany! oh, and did i mention i didn't have to spend an arm and a leg! Pros: Best hair i have ever had, for a great price! more

Found a great stylist! 2/27/2010

great job with the wedding guests 1/28/2010

I didn't want to be a bother to my friend when everyone went in to get their hair done the day of her wedding, so I took some of our friends and took them to the TNT Hair Design studio to have them work on us. They were able to get 5 women done that morning without a hitch, making sure each of us was happy with our hair. I made the appointment a month in advance and they assured me we would be their only clients at the time. They were right! They did a great job for us and really helped out with time management that day. more

Best Stylist in North County 3/12/2009

I just want to recommend a local hair stylist I found. Lindsey at TNT Hair Designs is awesome!! I had color and a cut done and it was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I get compliments on it all the time and that's always fun for us ladies! The salon is on Coast Highway in Oceanside, very bright, clean and welcoming. Lindsey spent time letting me know how to get the most out of my hair, and the best way to get it to do what I wanted. She had ideas, and information for me that was extremely helpful. I can't imagine going to anyone else now, and I recommend her highly. I've turned several friends on to her and in these economic times, her prices are very reasonable. So if you want excellent, attentive service with a great price, Lindsey is your girl! Pros: professional, friendly,knowledgeable Cons: none more

TNT Hair Design 11/8/2008

Well, this was my second visit to TNT, and again it was great! I have been searching for a new place to get my hair done since I left Oceanside and moved to Fallbrook in 2004. I had read the reviews for TNT on here and decided to give it a shot! Boy, I am so glad I did!! Pam was absolutely wonderful! She spent hours trying to make me look better, and appease my very picky attitude, and it worked, my husband agrees! She listens to what you want and then works her magic! I haven't been able to find a place that I wanted to return to in 4 years, even after numerous visits to salons in Fallbrook and Oceanside. Now I am very happy to be a client of TNT and will return again, and again. Thanks Pam for making it fun and enjoyable! You rock!! TTFN- Tara more

Best service..best hair...best stylist 10/28/2008

I really needed my hair cut and colored so I just walked into TNT on pch or the 101 in oceanside, and was greeted by a lovely young woman who wasnt anything short of polite and professional. Her name was Lindsey, but went by a nickname of Frankie...which is as cute as she is! She welcomed me to sit at her booth and for 20 min we spoke about my lifestyle, my everyday hair care, and what I was looking for that day. I felt like she really cared about what I was willing to do at home! While she highlighted my hair she educated me about how to achieve healthy hair at home and also about how to cut out all the bad product that was destroying my hair! When she washed my hair she gave a great massage and and still gave me tips to achieve what she was doing in the salon. Her motto is seemed was..hair should be easy and fabulous. The color was absolutly impeccable...I know because I am used to expensive L.A. salons...but TNT in oceanside has a stylist that can one up those snotty LA diva hair sylists...Frankie not only has a great positive attitiude, but the skill and knowledge to back it up! I recomend her to all my friends and all my co-workers! She was priced very competetivley and in my opinion she could charge way more.. Mandy managed to make my straight, flat hair full and curly for the entire night.- well over 14 hours later I still had an excellent style For anyone looking for an excellent and efficient group- TNT is excellent! Best overall salon experience 9/27/2008

I was in need of a stylist and had no where to go...a friend recomended Lindsey at tnt hair design...if she says its good its good! I showed up 10 min early and expected to wait, but Lindsey had finished her client and cleaned up for me in time to be on scheduel..which I appreciate! She approached me with a smile and a hand shake. She gave a relaxing consultation, and asked me all the right questions...she knew so much about my hair that I can never go to anyone else! She proceeded with the color service...the best Highlights I've ever had.....she formulated my color so well that as the weeks went on I was left with beautiful vibrant color! Her haircut was so precise(a-line) that I could leave the house wet and the shape would just be there..and when it dried still beautiful! I recomend her to any age...she is so talented and her personality was refreshing and like an old freind! Pros: personality/color/cut/conversation Cons: none more

I am soooooo picky about my hair, after its been mangled and tortured by salons all over sd, i was despeerate to find a place i could go to get the treatment i needed, with the end result that i demanded. I get my hair done every 3 weeks, and have absolutley zero tolerance for a bad hair cut. i work in the public eye, and really cant be seen looking like i need a touchup or a cut. I used to get my hair done with a friend who happens to report the news on a sd news channel, and found a stylist that i cant live without! Ive since left the salon i attended with my friend to follow Lindsey my cut/color stylist to her 3rd and final location at TNT HAIR DESIGN in oceanside. i was sooo glad that she landed us there because everyone from the owners Toni and Tessla to the receptionist were pleasant and friendly, making me feel right at home... The layout is clean, and thats a big thing for me. i dont like being places that arent clean, if its dirty, i just leave. But Lindsey is just one of the most delightful people ive ever come across, reguardless of her profession, and i couldnt be happier with the high end hair cuts i recieve on a regular basis. Her specialty is color. Lindsey has a rare talent for formulating my color, which i change often! she uses a rare color line that she obviously knows inside and out. i get vibrant colors that i havent seen anywhere else. absolutley stunning! ive reccomended many of my friends to go through her and TNT hair design, just because i know they will come home happy about what they paid for! Pros: for me, it couldnt be in a better location. i literally live a mile away from the place, and ended up spendin less than any other visit around the county's many salons i had tried. Cons: very near the beach, so bring a sweater on those cold overcast days. more
