Unfortunately, we used this company for roofing, masonry, and gutter replacement.
They were scheduled to show up on three separate occasions. The first, they called and stated they were running behind and didn't get to finish a job they needed to finish. The next day they were supposed to arrive, we arranged our schedule to accommodate them. They no call no showed and when they were called to find out why, they didn't even apologize or give any reason for the inconvenience. They finally arrived on a monday when we, once again arranged our schedules to accommodate them.
The workers were extremely unprofessional, using an excessive amount of profanities. They left the house a mess and killed my lawn and landscaping with their carelessness. When I left them at my home to go to work, they had the audacity to ask me what I do, how much I make, and how much I paid for my house.
The next job was the gutters. They came when we were unable to be home to fix these and couldn't give us a date and time that they would be there. Upon arriving home I found that they had not fixed the gutters as per the discussion with ""Tom"" that gave us the estimate. I called to ask if they could, from now on, give us a time and date as to when the work will be done so that we could make sure it is done correctly. They agreed and returned to complete the job properly. However, when they returned to complete the job, they were asked to check with me prior to leaving to make sure that all looked good and they left without honoring my request.
At this point, I was ready to be done with this company and go with someone else for the masonry work that needed to be completed. My husband assured me that he had taken care of all the problems and that the masonry work would be done to my satisfaction.
Not only did they , again, come on a day that we were unable to be there for the masonry work, but it was a surprise visit and it was far from being satisfactory! When the estimate was given by the company, it was discussed that the masonry work would be done in a completely different way as to prolong the life of the brick steps. What was discussed was not done and we were never contacted to make sure that what they decided to do instead was ok. So, the estimate was for one thing, and they did another. Again, I arrived from work to find the unprofessional bunch smoking cigarettes on my front lawn. When asking them why the work didn't look as it should, they stated that it wasn't even possible to do the work that they initially had quoted in the estimate. They were extremely rude stating that this is what ""Tom"" (the person who did the estimate) said to do. After that conversation, they left. When contacting ""Tom"", again, he stated that he tried to get a hold of us all day, but really he never tried once. Both my husband and I have cell phones and are able to track our calls. He never called nor left a message regarding the work they were about to mess up.
After multiple discussions with ""Tom Tittle"" my husband made the executive decision to pay them for the masonry work although it wasn't done how we wanted at all and we were never consulted on how it was done. They gave us $125 off because they knew it wasn't right... big deal! We felt that we were stuck and, although we know that what they did isn't legal, it isn't work the fight for $900.
My husband and I are first time home owners and we spent a lot of money with this company. I regret every penny and wish we could go back. Since we can't go back, I urge you to take this into consideration and not go with this company for any of your work.
