Tires Plus Total Car Care

I am really surprised at the reviews on this site. I have gotten nothing but professional, friendly service from these people for about 10 years, and I trust them a great deal. In fact, there have been some instances where I've had trouble with my car, took it to them, left it there, they looked at it and told me either that it was OK, or needed work they could not provide, and never charged me for it, AND recommended places where I could take it for the specific issues I needed addressed. They have always been candid about safety issues, what would and would not pass inspection, and what I ""should"" get replaced as compared with what I ""must"" get replaced, and have been thorough in their explanations as to why, bringing me back into the bay and showing me (and explaining to me) precisely what was wrong. They have even told me when it wasn't worth it to replace or repair something, or replace or repair it ""yet,"" or what I could do myself that would cost less than if they did it. If they didn't have parts they needed, they'd get them THAT DAY (if it was early enough).\r \r I recommend them without reservation. \r more

Took my car there for inspection, they asked me if I would be waiting, I said, No. Eight hours later...they called to tell me that me, my vehicle did not pass inspection due to the front brakes charging me $740.00. to get this fixed. Thirty minutes later they called back to tell me my back brakes would not ""make it"" so I SHOULD have those done as well. An hour later they called to tell me they have an issue with the back brakes and would have to keep the car overnight!!! Oh, by the way...the cost grew to over $1,000.00. I need the car back to go to work in the morning and take my family members to the airport so they can go home...what is this world coming to when we turn on each other to take our hard earned money because some of us don't have any work????? more

Went here in November for a tire rotation and oil change. Two hours later they told me that I needed $1,000.00 worth of work done on my car to pass inspection. They also told me that I should get it done really soon because it was a safety issue and the one problem needed to be taken care of within a few weeks. I took it somewhere else in February when it was due to get inspected and they told me that I didn't need ANY of the work done that Tires Plus said I needed. The other place passed it with flying colors. I'm out of work and can't afford anything that I don't need. Almost got ripped of for $1,000.00!!!!!!! Won't ever go to any Tires Plus locations ever again! more
