My visit started with an oil change and I requested that they check into a noise my vehicle was making when I accelerated. The technician recommended I replace the turbo saying it sounded EXACTLY how his Audi did when his turbo went out. Being that he appeared very sure of himself I did just that, with a different mechanic as I was able to save on labor costs. When my mechanic reached the turbo, his professional opinion was my turbo had no signs of wear or damage. Since we had purchased the expensive part and I requested he replace it he did as I had originally asked (unnecessary cost $1500) it did not fix the problem. Due to my availability and time I couldn't leave my car for further inspection but the mechanic suggested to check out my timing chain. I called Tire Pros and explained that I followed through with their suggestion and my vehicle was still making the noise and was offered to bring it in to put it on the computer for free. When I arrived the next day the manager refused to follow through with what his technician said to me the previous night and charged me $150 for the inspection. After inspection they called me with news that I would need a new engine and it would cost approximately $7,000. That was the final straw. I got a second opinion of which they were shocked as to the recommendation of a new engine. Upon further inspection they found my timing chain was completely maxed out and needed to be replaced, so I did and my car is fixed (total $1600 NOT $7000).
I will say my experience at Tire Pros is typically a good one but the manager's lack of customer service has turned me away, I will no longer be a return customer.
