Customer service was great and they were running a special on an oil change so that was nice. I didn't have to wait long, another plus. more

I was referred to The Tire Center of Burlington by 2 different friends when I needed both a 4 wheel alignment and 4 new tires. I had previously gotten tires at Discount Tire on University Dr., and was happy with the price and service, but Discount Tire doesn't do alignments... so I was looking for a one-stop solution. I shopped around online and expected my total ""out the door"" to be around $500-$550 for mid-grade 205/55r16 tires with H speed rating and rated at over 50k miles. Tire Center was having sale on Yokohama tires and I was able to get the high-end (instead of mid-grade) Ascend tires installed + 4 wheel alignment for about $500 (plus about $30 in NC and tire taxes). I have a $60 Yokohama rebate to send in, so my total will be about $470, before taxes, $500 with taxes. more

I needed affordable, but durable tires for a company car, and when I called around a full set was pretty expensive. When I checked the price with the tire center, they were not only cheaper but the customer service was excellent. more

I won't ever go back. I bought tires and had my oil changed. The did not put in the type oil I had requested. I had to wait over 4 hours. They over tightened my oil drain plug and damaged it. The oil filter and wheel lug nuts were also over tightened making them extremely difficult to remove. Stay way! more

Awful...charged me for services they were supposed to have performed, but, did not do...turning all rotors on my car. I had to take my car to another service center to get the rotors turned. The Tire Center would not refund my money because they said I should have called or brought my car back to them (even though they did not do what they were paid to do).\r \r I will not ever take my car to them again. I'm just warning others that they cannot trust this tire center. more

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They have screwed me over several times on truck repairs - even their negligence leaving me stranded on the interstate within 30 minutes of a so-called repair. Today, they took my repair order, said they could take me home (5 minutes and they've done it every time) if I waited. I waited. Then they said they had no one but could do my truck if I left it. I asked to see the manager. He said they couldn't repair my truck today - or even tomorrow morning! They were "booked!" They don't take appointments so they had cars left from yesterday. He didn't even say "sorry." They are rude, incompetent, unfair - I understand they have been known to mistreat elderly (me) and women (me). Read other negative reviews - they are true! Cheap tires - but apparently they have been known to mislead people about brands and needs for other tire services. BEWARE!!!! more

I've been buying tires here for about 5 years. I recommend EVERYONE STAY AWAY!. The Tire Center is only interested in selling you extra overpriced services. I also believe they use fraudulent tacics to increase their profit. I also believe they victimize women and the elderly. They use the First Come First Serve policy as an excuse to waste time even though I have witnessed some people get priority service. I researched the best tires for my Mom's sedan. I obtained quotes for two different tire brands. I was told the tires were in stock. A week later she went to purchase the tires and they said the tire size wasn't in. The two attendants proceeded to whisper to themselves and then told her they would let her know when the car was ready. 3 HOURS later they returned her car and the woman proceeded to tell her that the car needed a 4 wheel alignment. My mother became suspicious and said she would see about it later. When my mother left the building a young man (another customer) followed her and proceeded to tell her that the Tire Center was trying to sell her a service the car did not need. A Camry would only need a Front end alignment. When I checked the car tires later I noticed they were not the tires I ordered. They were not even the same brand. The Tire Center installed no name tires without authorization or notice! I quickly researched the tires (Mastercraft by Cooper Tires) on line and could only find they were commonly referred to as Mastercrap! They were not even recognized by Tire Rack. I proceeded to call the Tire Center to rectify the situation immediately. I was told the tires we wanted along with other alternatives were not available. I felt we were forced into accepting more expensive tires because none of the lesser styles were available and the Tire Center could not even say when they would be available. We certainly didn't want to keep the junk tires on the car and it was too late to get the old tires back. I repeated twice the tire brand/ model and price we would agree to. I asked him again to not make her wait so long and he had a smart aleck response. My mother went back early the next morning and after another 3 HOURS they returned her car. There was never any apology received for their poor dishonest behavior. The Yokohamas perform much better than the Mastercrafts. You would be better off seeking service at Merchants or even Sears! more

They did a oil change and they didn't tighten the oil filter down. It then sprayed oil all over my engine and ruined my engine sensor. This costs over $375 in damages to my vehicle. When I told them about it, they wanted to deny the damage, but the dealer stands by the statement of their oil filter damage. The Tire Center refuses to fix the problem. AND they were rude to me, pounding on the bathroom door when they wanted to reach me. Their service and workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. I would say AVOID THEM at ALL COSTS! Do not go there and have any work done!!!! more

These guys are great! Friendly, courteous, cost-effective! Would highly recommend them every time you need tires! more

Well mentioned this place to my girlfriend cause she needed an alignment and I have heard of the low prices, well she called about 2 o clock they said they were slow and for for her to come on and that they could take her if she arrived with the hour,so she arrived there a little after three, after about an hour drive from greensboro, she walks in and they just turn her away because they had gotten busy and told her they couldnt get to her before closing. So after her talking to place, them telling her to come down, and driving bout an hour, they just turn her away. I don,t think as highly of this place as i used too. I would rather spend the extra money and get a guaranteed spot anywhere else. Save your time and spend a lil extra money to go somewhere else and you wont regret not coming to this place. more

Great service, good price. I can't imagine anyone being dissatisfied with this place. I was from out of town; they worked me in and fixed the problems with my car quickly at a fair price. The owner is committed to providing good, honest service at a fair price. I highly recommend this place. more

The tire center is a great place to shop.It's your one stop shop to getting all vehicle needs. I went there the past week for a set of tires and had a oil change and NC inspection all in one place. Didn't have to go to three different shops.The service writers up front (Darrell, Jose,Cheryl) were very polite and courteous. I will recommed The Tire Center to friends and family more

I had a very good experience with the Tire Center and will definitely recommend to friends and family. I bought a set of tires and had some other service done. They were professional, courteous, honest, and the prices were reasonable. I live in Reidsville but will drive to Burlington next time I need work done to my car. more

I have purchased at least 6 sets of tires from these guys and had a couple of alignments done. Their prices and service are second to none and I doubt I'll ever go anywhere else again. The guys that worked on my cars were careful, courteous and professional. They even hand-torqued the lugs on several of my alloy wheel sets and took extra time to assure the jacks were placed exactly where they should be so no damage would occur (unlike several other places where they don't give a s**t about your vehicle). I have referred friends here and they too have had nothing but good to say about this business. I live in Durham and its worth every extra penny to drive to Burlington for their service and prices. Call them before you pay too much or have your car f'd up somewhere else. db in durham more

The Tire Center of Burlington is a reputable place to get your car repaired. Just be sure to call ahead as they stay pretty busy. It's also a good place to buy your next set of tires. more
