We had storm damage from Sandy. I asked our neighbor who he would suggest to fix or replace our roof. He said Tim Schaffer. It was December until I finally had a chance to call him. Tim promptly came out gave an estimate and told us to call our insurance company. Thankfully we were fully covered.\r Our roof damage was not severe so we were in no hurry, Tim said it would be early April to do the job. He called the second week of April and his crew completed the roof in 2 days. \r Fortianly the work was done when I was home, so I had a chance to watch them. They took great care to cover the yard and shrubs with tarps. As I watched them replace the roof I know my roof was put on by professionals. I was impressed with the quality work they did. \r Tims crew did an outstanding job. Crew Forman Luis was polite and courteous Matt, Dave, William all worked very hard. They cleaned up everything as if it was their own property!\r Tim has built an outstanding business, his signs are everywhere, and I know why! We Thank You Tim.\r more

My name is Tim Schaffer and I am the owner of Timothy Schaffer Roofing & Siding Inc.\r I am compelled to respond to these negative reviews. Although I am certain that they have been posted by one of my competitors, I will respond appropriately. These accusations from customers do not exist. I have never disrespected a customer in any way, shape or form .I give every customer the respect that I would expect in return to myself and my employees. I supply the highest quality work at very reasonable prices. I have been working in the Souderton /Telford area for 23 years now and we rarely drive more than a few miles to each job. There is no way that any company could do this well for so long in one area if accusations like this were true .It is a shame that my competitors feel the need to stoop to this level to try to make my company look bad instead of trying to do better work and make themselves look good. I would like to thank the customers that have taken the time to respond to these slanderous reviews in my defense. I hope that more of my customers read this and respond. Anyone who has done business with my company knows that these reviews are lies. I have committed my life to building a reputable business that serves the public with the highest quality and integrity. Timothy Senior took off his shirt and after many requests to put it back on told me ""To f^ck off and let him do his f^cking job."" He is a disrespectful, dishonest man. He broke my mailbox with his dump truck and left what seemed to be joint ends in my yard. The men who work for this man are very rude and should not be allowed on property. more

I live in an adult retirement community in Souderton and I was seriously shopping around. I called and got an estimate which beat all the other estimates by a great deal. This was for the same shingle and warranty. \r \r Tim's crew was very polite and cleaned up nicely. I was very pleased.\r \r Its been 3 years since the roof was done and I needed to call for the high winds we just had. Many neighbors lost shingles. I have a few ruffled ones that need securing. \r \r While looking for Tim's number I noticed the reviews and read a horrendous review from Washington DC area. I had to laugh and find the review very suspect because it is so nasty!!! DC area???!!!! VERY STRANGE!!! more

Tim's crew just finished new windows and siding on our house. They really pay attention to detail and added \r some special touches. The guys were very polite and fun to have around. They even washed my windows when they were done. The job took a little long to complete. but the end result is very satisfactory! more

I'm so thankful for that day my daughter suggested we call Timothy Schaffer Roofing & Siding for an estimate! \r We had no idea who he was but thought why not check things out. Our home needed to be resided, new gutters, etc.....the whole deal. He was the ONLY contractor who responded in a timely fashion to call back. And we left messages with 3 others who never called! \r We felt so comfortable with Tim right off the bat. He totally understood our needs and wants and fulfilled each and every one of them. Besides being extrememly knowlegeable, he was also kind, courteous and very attentative to our ideas. Plus we added something on to be done that was not part of the original estimate which they did for us and we could not be happier! \r This company is the best! He and his hard working team got the job done with the highest quality of workmanship, extremely courteous, and always wanted to make sure we were happy with the end result. \r Do yourself a big favor....if you need any roofing, siding, etc. done.....CALL TIMOTHY SCHAFFER! They went over and above to satisfy us, which is rare nowadays. You won't be sorry should you decide to give them a call and whoever it is who wrote the negative review, must be a competitor! I hired Timothy Schaffer Roofing and Siding almost 20 years ago to put a new roof on my house. I was very pleased with his workmanship as well as his prices and was 100% satisfied with the entire job from beginning to end. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and getting the job done right. He kept me updated on his progress and always asked both my wife and I if we were satisfied with how the job was going. He and his team cleaned up after the job so well my wife wanted to hire his team to clean the inside of the house as well…lol. He is a very conscientious person who really cares about the quality of his work. I have had him back to my house to do several projects over the years including installing windows, new vinyl siding and doors and he has never let me down. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone. more

We've lived in Hatfield for 34 years, and have used many local contractors and suppliers, and Tim Schaffer Roofing is The best contractor we have found. Best. Price and quality, you will not find better. The two negative reviews here on CitySearch have got to be written by a competitor, because there is no way Tim Schaffer's company would have treated a customer as described. Our next door neighbor first hired Schaffer to reroof their house, and we were so impressed with the work crew, the work, and the price, that we had them roof our house next. Their bid was way under what our normal contractor charged, and we really liked our former roofing contractor who did slate repairs on our home each year. Then five years later, when we needed aluminum siding for our trim, we had Schaffer come back and bid on the job, and again, he bid significantly under the other company who quoted on the job. We were just as pleased with the siding job, as the roofing job, and we enjoyed getting to know the workers. We just yesterday asked Schaffer to bid on some windows and gutter guards, and learned of these negative reviews on this site, and are happy to tell our story. Since we first had our roof done, maybe ten years ago, we've notice his signs all over the place. Ask around, and you'll find that this is a reputable contractor with excellent prices. more

Tim and his team worked on my roof, put in new windows and siding and did a great job....I love the way my home looks now! He was efficient and clean and neat and treated my home and family with respect while his team worked. His workmanship is outstanding.
