Timber Tops Cabin Rentals

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful: updated, fresh and clean, wonderful amenities! The service, care, and attention of the staff was exceptional: detailed registration help, pleasant attitudes, attention to details, and patience to handle any question. The express check-in and check-out process was delightful and quick! The price of the stay was affordable, even in these tough times. We simply couldn't ask for more! When we decided to rent a cabin it was very difficult because there were so many in the area to choose from. We ended up choosing a Timber Tops cabin called "A Walk In The Clouds". Before we left I made the mistake of reading some of the reviews for Timber Tops cabins and it worried me. Some were so negative saying the sheets were dirty and cabins were filthy. They said staff wasn't helpful when there were problems etc. Well we stayed in "A Walk In The Clouds" June 18th to the 21st 2010 and it was perfect!!! I think there are just some people you cannot make happy and like to complain. Our cabin was immaculate, clean and exactly like the pictures showed. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We wanted our Hot Tub temperature turned down a bit and very promptly a very friendly maintenance man showed up to take care of it. He also went out of his way and filled the tub a little fuller without even being asked. Check in was easy and so was check out. Our cabin was beautiful with every possible feature we could ask for from more than enough towels for all 6 of us to IPOD chargers in every room for the kids to a fully stocked kitchen and the most awesome view ever. They even had the kitchen table completely set when we arrived. Timber Tops is awesome and we sill definitely be back. more

The photos posted on the Timber Tops web site were exactly what we experienced. We fell in love with this cabin. The swing and rockers on the porch was our favorite place. The leather sofa was extremely comfortable. We were very satisified and we speak of this vacation often. more

Timber tops has the best sets of associates every,very friendly and helpful. we had 6 couples had we all had a great time. we will be back to big thunder lodge. more

We stayed at Mountain Escape, it was a beautiful cabin (my personal feelings about the drive up there shouldn't be taken too seriously I have anxiety!) Our stay involved meeting up with family from 2 different states. The staff upon arrival were kind and had a great sense of humor! we were welcomed with a courteous smile and hello. The map to our cabin was scary but we made it there with only 2 wrong turns!!! The cabin itself was great,plenty of room for all the families and our children, beautiful views and great entertainment options! I will definitely rent from Timber Tops again,just not at the top of the mountain, all of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there! more

Absolutely loved the cabin and the area. The cabin was beautiful and great. I had read some negative reviews on line and was a little worried, but I think people just like to complain. I did see one roach in the sink, but goodness! It's in the mountains. Didn't bother me! I would definitely recommend you to others, and if we are in the area would stay with you again. The people were all great, and the cabin looked just like it did in the picture, actually even better! Thanks for a great visit. We hated to leave! p.s. more
