Tiffany's Dance Academy

I should of went with my gut and left in the first month. The teachers and staff are very young, yes they are dancers, but that does not give them the knowledge on how to teach children. It is very expensive, yet not sure why?? The studio is located in a not so hot strip mall, they have one young person in the office and they have three or four young teachers that come and go. I never saw any one from the main ?Tiffany?s? office overseeing the teachers or evaluating them. So basically you are paying tons of money to have your children taught by teachers in their early 20s. The recital is so expensive. You have to drive all the way to Hayward for the recital when perfectly good venues are close to the studio. Was not for me or my girls! My daughter danced at Tiffany's for 3 years. It's a very good dance school. My daughter grew a lot there as a dancer. However, it is very large and not as focused on the individual dancer as it could be. There is a push for many dancers to be in the competition company and take many hours of classes - as many as 12 or more per week. Pros: wide variety of classes, well managed Cons: less personal atmosphere than a smaller studio. more

Tiffany's has amazing instructors - all of whom have been highly trained and are skilled performers themselves. Their programs are very popular so sign up early! A friend referred us and our daughters are enrolling in the hip-hop class to complement their ballet and modern training. They also have jazz classes. \r \r If you want your child to learn technique AND self-confidence, then try TDA. It is well worth the commute! more

Tiffany's Dance Academy(TDA) is by far the best dance studio in the entire east bay. As an aspiring performer, TDA, has really taught me much more than than the ballet, tap, or jazz. TDA has gone even further to teach me to love what I do. Every move that I make has been molded to be a performance. I have been trained by the amazing faculty of TDA to care for each individual breath. As a dancer, I don't know if I could be anywhere near where I am today as both a dancer and a person, if it wasn't for the incredible teachings of Tiffany's Dance Academy. I would highly recommend this studio to anybody looking to dance, whether it be recreational or professionaly. Pros: inexpensive, good location, good parking more
