I must be missing something because when I took my dog here the doctor and staff were extremely helpful. They know what they are doing and my dog loves coming here. more

Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital is the best. Dr. Luke is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. She wants what is best for her patients and recommends it. Her staff is as equally knowledgeable and compassionate. I have to say she isn't the least expensive Vet out there but she is worth it. She always gives an estimate of charges and tries to stay within those limits and will call when the work they are doing is going to exceed the estimate. They even pass out pagers to the pets owners so they can be sure to get ahold of the owners in case of an emergency. Who does that? That's amazing. She also does "at home euthanasia" which allows your pets suffering to end in an environment that is comfortable and familiar. That was a big deal for us as some of our previous pets got old and sick. Thank you Dr. Luke. more

Dr. Luke and staff are awesome. They have always taken care of my pets and I'm thankful for all that they do. They educate me on what's best for my pets and keep me updated on what vaccines my pets need. I really like the alternative method to vaccinating. I really care for my pets if I don't have to vaccinate then I won't. I would recommend Dr. Luke and her staff to anyone in need of a good through vet. more

When I was looking for a vet and I went to many. No other Vet but Dr. Luke did a full exam on my pets. Dr. Luke and staff educated me on what I could do better to help keep my pets healthy and happy. #1 and foremost that they stressed is taking care of my pets teeth. They have many products that help me to keep my pets mouth clean and healthy. Dr. Luke always talks in terms that I can understand and even draws pictures to help me understand. I think that she is a great vet and I love the staff too. Very caring and fun. I would recommend Dr. Luke and her staff to anyone that is serious about the Vet care for their pet. more

We have been taking our cats here for about 5 years. May be expensive (I have not shopped around lately), but you can count friendly treatment (for you) and caring treatment (for your pet). Dr Luke does a great job of explaining options in cases where the options are complicated, and her vet techs are great. more

They cared for my cat for many years until she recently passed away. Dr.Luke is a great dr and yes the prices are on the high side but you are paying for high quality & professional help. The staff is great, they always explain everything to you and try to have you leave with a complete understanding of what happened with your pet. more

The staff TVH is amazing. They always have a smile for you when you walk in the door and show a true caring for the animals. They put up with a lot from the "difficult" patients and don't seem to mind it. The only negative I have is the outrageous cost of veterinary care. It may not be much more expensive here than anywhere else, but every time we go in, there's always something we didn't anticipate doing that we end up being talked into. I know their priority is for the animal's care, but it sometimes comes across as profit motivated. Maybe that's a complaint about vet care in general more than at this particular business. That being said, we do really like the doctors and assistants. They have boarding available (though nothing really comfortable) if needed and do a lot of procedures "in-house" which reduces costs. They have also been great about finding good referrals for special problems or needs. more
