Love love love Dr. Dave! She is such a sweet, wonderful woman who genuinely cares about my families dental needs. Just brought my 3 year old there a few weeks ago and had a very pleasant experience! more

Thank God 4 New Management Here! 2/13/2012

I had a most horrendous experience here in the past but fortunately someone new took over the business in January. I have not been to see Dr Felix but he has contacted me regarding my issues with the previous management & Dentists and find him to be kind and very apologetic for a situation he had no participation in. I cannot speak to the quality of dental care here now but I am elated to hear that the practice is in better hands these days. Thank you Dr Felix for your care, concern and call. I am sorry that you are inconvenienced and judged based upon the previous owners terrible business practices and wish you great success going forward. more

Fantastic office 8/28/2011

We are new patients at Tickle Tooth Dental and what a breath of fresh air! My kids love the waiting room which kept them busy while we waited, but they only had 10 minutes so I let them play after the appointment. The office is clean, the front desk was polite and very prepared and the doctor and staff were very nice. I compared their prices to other pediatric dentists and they were the lowest. I was nervous about that but the service was excellent! I really like that I can view the filling through the window and know my kids are ok and not crying. I've since spoken to neighbors and friends and everyone has had a good experience in the last two years. more

Horrible dental care for 2x the price 11/11/2010

My fiances daughter is 4 years old and had been going to Tickle Tooth up until recently. She liked the staff there but their care is AWFUL as we have come to find out. They never did a complete x-ray set on her. They completely missed an infection between her baby teeth and adult teeth - one that could cause irreversible harm to her adult teeth and long term health problems. And the fillings Tickle Tooth put in would often fall out and the ones that have remained now have cavities underneath. They charge about 2x more than our new dentist also. We will never go back to Tickle Tooth and we will never recommend them to anybody. more

Best Experience Ever 11/2/2010

Thank Goodness!! I have four kids and this office has been amazing. My 3 year old plays on the toys that are interactive on the floor or watches TV, my 6 year old loves to ride the CARNIVAL HORSE, my 10 and 12 year olds play video games, the place is decked out for kids!! They all have soft teeth and need lots of fillings. The staff has been right on with my out of pocket amount due at every appointment and that is so helpful on a budget. Although I do have to pay extra for the laser, I think it is really worth it, my kids have never had to get a needle shot there. The doctor is patient and gentle. About a year ago I did have an incident with a rude technician who helps the doctor, but she is no longer there, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I shopped around and their prices are cheap compared to other offices. Very happy here. more

AWESOME With Kids! 3/18/2010

This was my 3 year olds first visit to the dentist and he ENJOYED it! The dentist was great !! They made the extra effort to allow my son to get comfortable with his surrounding before starting the cleaning. They made it fun for him and he even went back to fill a cavity without any problem. he sat on the chair himself and the dentist was very very patient with him. They engaged him in conversation and showed him all the tools before using it on him. Overall we had a GREAT experience. Now my son is always ready and eager to go back ! more

Awesome 3/16/2010

I think the staff is great. I take my daughter there for cleaning, my wife and I are also patients there. I think the dentist is great, very honest with the recommended procedures. She told us clealy what we needed and what to avoid as an unnecesary procedures. They are always prepared with insurnace approvals and the wait time is very minimal. Pros: Very Friendly Staff Cons: Small Waiting Room more

Very Pleased 2/22/2010

I've been taking my son, who is now 12, for 3 or 4 years. I've been very pleased. I've never waited more than 5 minutes for him to be seen and he is immediately treated when he goes back and returns very quickly. Additionally, I find the front staff extremely couteous, friendly and knowledgable when it comes to scheduling and insurance issues. We've changed insurance and addresses multiple times and they've stayed seamlessly on top of things. I also find that when I'm dealing with them on the phone, they are extremely responsive, friendly and prompt in getting back to me when I have questions. My only gripe is that the waiting room is an odd configuration, a little bit cramped and not all that comfortable. They have an old fashioned mechanical horse that thrills kids when they first walk in, but rarely do I see the kids actually enjoying it and it makes a lot of noise. I'd recommend that they remove it and add either a tv or more age appropriate toys for their older patients. The horse was a nice thought, but more of an annoyance to others who are waiting. Pros: Things seem well run and they are quick Cons: The waiting room could be bigger and more comfortable more

Not good with kids! 1/26/2010

We have had great check-ups here in the past with Dr. Gomez. About a year or more ago the staffing changed completely and with it the kid- friendly environment. We had a hygenist or assistant who seemed downright hostile toward my son. He was sitting in the chair waiting to be worked on and he was told he must sit with his hands behind his back rather than on the armrests. When he asked why she snapped at him ""Because I said so!"" When he started getting upset she told him if he didn't stop misbehaving she would have to get his mother. She then came out and practically yelled at me that HE must be having a really bad day. Actually our day was going great until this. I could tell that she was really angry with him. My other older child told me that she was mean and rough but he just dealt with it because he didn't want to make things worse! Pros: friendy at checkout desk Cons: Not good with kids anymore! more

HORRIBLE! 9/17/2009

We had been going to this dentist for 3 years and we will never go again. The dentist that performed work on my daughter seemed angry and impatient that my daughter was crying very quietly and had to take 5 min to compose herself (she's 6 and was scared of needles). TT said they accepted our insurance which suddenly they no longer accept and charged twice the amount which in turn cost me. We were due a reimbursement which they kept and I had to call to get and have yet to receive 1 month later despite calling several times. The front desk person is ignorant and refuses to help resolve the insurance issue that has that has taken so much of my time and now money. Cons: insurance fraud, bad front desk service, insensitive dentist more

Avoid This Office. 2/16/2009

My daughter recently fell on the ice and chipped a permanent front tooth. After seen her it was obvious that the chip was more cosmetic then anything else. I scheduled an appointment with this office to have her tooth fixed - this is specifically what I explained on the phone. We went to the office, after a long wait they took her back. After two hours in their office she walked out and I asked to see her tooth (they told me nothing about what they were doing with her for so long and I was not allowed to accompany her). She smiled at me and the chip was still there. In 2 hours time they had taken nothing more then an X-Ray of her tooth. I was furious. I immediatly scheduled an appointment with another pediatric dentist who was able to see us the following day. In the same two hours that we spent in the tickle tooth office they were able to clean her teeth, give her a floride treatment, repair the cracked tooth, and seal all of her permanent teeth. Tickle Tooth is nothing but a bad office with very poor office staff. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I would highly recommend looking up Dr Steven Solow in Wynnewood. more

The Best Childrens Dental Office 11/6/2008

My Kids love this office and look forward to their visits. The treatment has been quick and painless. Pros: Great dentists and staff more

Wouldn't take my children anywhere else and now I'm a patient also 10/5/2008

I have taken my children to general and pediatric dentists all over the country and Tickle Tooth Dental rates as one of the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the doctor is awesome with the children and adults. The treatment has been painless and my kids actually enjoy going there! Pros: great dentist and staff, beautiful/modern/clean office Cons: can't think of any more

Great office my kids love this place 9/28/2008

9-2008 This office trys hard to make kids happy. I have three kids and they were occupied in the waiting room with a play set for my 3 year old which was right by me so I could watch her, plus TV plus videos. Then my 5 year old was riding the horse!!!! he was in heaven! Then my 12 year old was playing with play station in another area. Strict rules on the play station games but I gues people were stealing them. more

Great experience; my son loves it!! 9/26/2008

My son had a very bad experience at another ""children's dentist"" in the area. They were very impatient and wanted me to take my son to a hospital for his treatment. I heard great things about tickle tooth and I was very happy with the doctor, the staff and the office. The doctor is female and my child toot to her. They let us visit the office just to get him comfortable. In our last office, the staff would not discuss what my final payment would be!! It was a big secret. At least here you get a really close idea to the final amount you will pay out your wallet and they write it down. Because of their patience and the office, my son got all his work done and he did not need to be put to sleep. I compared their prices to other children's dentist and they are reasonable. Some offices charge double!! more

Great ""chair-side"" manners 1/22/2008

My son had his 1st cavity filled there, Dr Gomez rocked it! He was terrified of the process but got through it thanks to the kind and caring staff and rode the horse afterwards. Office setup is nice for kids and the TVs wok for the adults as well. Its a busy place, all those people must be happy or the they wouldn't be there. Pros: friendly Cons: busy, hard to get a cleaning appt more

Avoid this office. 11/15/2007

This is a pediatric dental office, but the staff showed no consideration or compassion. The women at the desk are insulting. The wait time is ridiculous. And to top it off, when my grandson was finally able to get his turn at treatment, the dentist rejected him when the four year old little boy did not open his mouth on cue. His mother took him to another pediatric dentist who had no trouble at all with the boy. Although Tickle Tooth did call immediately after the stressful incident in the office to offer to try again, it was too late to save the relationship. One cruel staff member even said it wasn't her fault that the mother had given the child such a poor diet that he had cavities. This is a false statement and doesn't even take into consideration the family history of genetic dental problems. It was a pea brained comment. more
