I've taken our cars to Tibbits countless times since I discovered them in 2007. They've always been fair and honest. Randy and Robert are great! If something doesn't need fixing, they tell you. If they accidentally mess up something (as we all do 'cause we're human) they tell you and fix it, no charge. They honor their warranties too. They put in a motor mount on Neon for me and about 9 months later it failed. Well, a new part wasn't available for almost 6 months (maybe longer) after that, and they still made the replacement free of charge. They put an alternator in my car that happened to fail after 13 months. Again, they replaced it free according to their warranty. I've seriously spent thousands of dollars over the years at Tibbits and I've been glad to do so. If Randy or Robert tell me and my wife that it cost X, it costs X! Some of the work I've had done are alternators (x3), water pump, radiators (x2), transmission rebuild, motor mounts, tires, alignments, timing belt and probably a bunch of other stuff I can't think of now. I grew up working on cars so it's not like I'm an uneducated person when it comes to auto-mechanics. I don't have the time like I used to so I take my cars to Tibbits. Even if I moved on the other side of town, I would still take my cars there. My only gripe is I wish they still had another location. They used to have a place on Forsythe and University and now they only have the place on Alafaya. I have to make sure I call ahead now to make an appointment if it's a non-emergency.
