Gone downhill 2/14/2009

Perhaps it's a victim of it's own success, but this place has gone downhill. The last couple of times I've tried it, the food was oily, carelessly prepared, overpriced and the service lousy. I'm not going back. Plenty of other places in town that are better and cheaper, with similar food. Pros: Funky ambiance - so what if the food's not good Cons: Food was oily, poorly prepared, too expensive. Meat was fatty and gross. more

Tia Sophia's, Authentic New Mexican Cuisine 9/4/2005

Locals and tourists alike wait patiently for tables at this downtown gem for lunch and breakfast. Everything is wonderful from the bean burritos drenched in chili to the chalupas, enchiladas, and chili rellenos. The best part is that the same family owns Tomasita's and Diego's (at DeVargas mall). I eat at each regularly. Pros: Inexpensive, Great food, Where the locals eat Cons: Closed Sunday more

Authentic New Mexican Cuisine 7/15/2003

Far and away the best value for true, authentic New Mexican cuisine (old school). Not your ordinary Santa Fe cusine...true to it's roots and where the locals go for good New Mexican food. Ask around...they'll tell you! Forget the trendy places...go to the source!! more
