Attendant at turn in was great. She knew we were in a hurry and tried her best to get us on our way.

Worst

Even though there were mistakes in the specifics of what I was getting charged they fixed the problem when I returned the car.

The car was clean and in good repair. They price-matched the online quote voluntarily. Pick up and drop off were painless and quick. Note to first time renters in Seattle, you must take a shuttle to the car rental building... something I wasn't expecting. It's quick, but I've never experienced it before. more

Suggest you do away with the policy of requiring a fuel receipt showing vehicle is fueled up,with in 10 miles at time of check in. Not needed and just frustrates me as a customer. more

Go elsewhere to rent a car. Foreign guy was so confusing, trying to charge me a security deposit that would be refunded. What? I specifically declined all insurance but was charged $55 anyway. I complained upon return, and fee was taken off, after being lectured that I shouldn't have signed. Worst thing is I reserved a full size car and they didn't have any! I was lucky that someone returned one just as I was standing there perplexed. It wasn't cleaned, but I had to go right away. Wow, what a mess. more

Rip off!!! Use another rental. I was told to fill car tank with in 4 miles of rental park return and to turn in receipt when returning, which I did. My card was then charged to fill the tank @ 9.00 plus a gallon for 12 gallons. The attendant took my receipt for filling the car that I paid for with cash at return inspection. I don't know where they put the gas as the car was full but sure it's a big scam!! more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 4/16/2009

This was a horrible experience. From being ignored upon arrival at the counter while the woman flirted with the man in front of us to the woman than making us think that we were required to take some level of their insurance (although our own insurance covered us) to the hidden fees that make Thrifty significantly MORE expensive than other rental companies. This truly was a horrible rental experience that I will NEVER repeat again. Our "subtotal" for 4 days renting was $176 after all the fees they added on and the insurance we didn't need but were made to take however our total was almost $395! Absolutely RIDICULOUS. No matter what price you are quoted on line you actual receipt will be completely different so save yourself and your bank account the trauma and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Pros: very nice shuttle driver Cons: Hidden fees, sneaky sales tactics, poor professionalism, more
