The food was so beautifully presented, it was hard to take that first bite...but then it was so delicious, we knew we would make this one of our regular places to wine and dine... Pros: A great place all around! more

Best Wine List and Food in Nashville 12/15/2008

Definitely a destination of travelers to Nashville, particularly if your from NY, Chicago, or the West Coast!\r I have been to 360 many times and recently entertained a party in the new private room! The room is beautiful with the illuminated wine bottles and beautiful decor. \r \r The food at 360 is always great, the mussels are the best, the best duck I've had in many years, and the Creme Brulee is the absolute best I've ever had. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of ambiance, service, and food. I always see many of my friends there and 360 is our neighborhood Bistro. \r \r The staff is one of the friendliest and professional in the city, and the Wine Sommelier, Brett, will turn you on to the wine that will complement the food perfectly, while introducing you to something new. We knew Brett when he was with Wild Boar and continue to trust his vast knowledge of viniculture. If pricing is an issue and I can't always spend $100 on a bottle of wine, well my wife won't let me, so we go during happy hour or when they have half price wine bottles. Otherwise a must for foodies! Pros: Private Room! Best Wine List in Nashville, Great food, Professional Friendly Staff Cons: Some tables are tight, (a very social atmosphere) difficult to hide if you don't want to be seen, unless you have the private room more

Good food-Service somewhat lacking 6/8/2008

My husband and I went there for dinner and the hostess initially gave us a cool reception when we advised we didn't have a reservation. There was only two tables in the restaurant seated. When she did seat us it was practically out of the restaurant and to the opening of the shopping center which didn't really afford a nice view. The menu is creative and reasonably priced. The wine list is also very nice and offers lots of variety. While waiting on our food some servers and the hostess congregated behind our table and had a conversation about the painting and general small talk. It was distracting and I would encourage the staff to have their conversations of of the dining room floor. The duck was very well executed and the pear sauce and polenta cake were good complements. The steak was good but a little overcooked. As we ate we saw other people seated in the front near the windows. That would have been preferable and if we go back I would definitely ask to be seated there. I am guessing the owner or manager, I am not sure who he was since he didn't introduce himself, came by and asked how the food was and thanked us for coming at the end. Our server was barely attentive. I would more then likely go back for lunch or maybe just a glass of wine. Pros: good food, elegant presentation Cons: inattentive server, seating is a little crowded more

Best new restaurant in Nashville 2/18/2008

I fell upon 360 Bistro not knowing it was in the area and was very surprised. The food was outstanding. My carpaccio was very good, well chilled and the presentation was very nice. i also had the Sturgeon which was fantastic. Served with a smoked tomato vinaigrette.\r \r So happy to find 360. Pros: menu size perfect Cons: tables too tight more

Slow Service and Wine Prices Too High 2/15/2008

My husband and I went to Bistro 360 for Valentine's Day 2008. We had been there when they were The Grape and enjoyed it.. We had to order the prix fixe menu. That was fine with us. Our server was very slow and apparently had too many tables because between courses either there was too much lag time or they were bringing out the next course before we had finished the prior course. The server was not attentive to us and when I had seen that aside from the dessert items listed on the prix fixe menu the were serving some people cheesecake, I asked if I could have that since I ended up with some horrible fruit soup dessert. \r \r The first course was okay. The second was the best course. My husband choose the chocolate ganache dessert and that was very good. However, I was not pleased with the food or the server. For over $150, our meal should have been much better and we should have gotten top notch service. \r \r Also, they charged us $16 each for a flight of 3 wines each with each wine flight only being a 3 oz pour. That is too high for a place like Bistro 360. Maybe in a 5 star restaurant. We browsed the wine list and checked out the prices on some of the bottles and they are very inflated. LIberty School for $40 a bottle. That is way too high. Obviously, the wife of the owner being a sommelier should help them offer good wines at reasonable prices and not try to rip people off by marking up prices on bottles of wine.\r \r We had a good Valentine's Dinner probably because of the company, not because of the meal or the service. Although, I do like the atmosphere of the restaurant and the seats were very cushy and comfortable. Oh, almost forgot. The server never offered us coffee with our dessert. \r \r We probably will never return to this restaurant. We were not impressed with the food. Just the decor. Pros: Nice atmosphere and decor Cons: Poor service and food quality not exceptional really more
