TheaterXtreme of Richmond was referred to us by a friend who had a similarly incredible experience with them. We went into their showroom and we explained what we were looking for. They came out to our house and made a computer design of what it would look like in our home and they absolutely nailed it. It was exactly what we were looking for. In the ordering of various parts, everything from the shipping to installment was so successful and the service could not have been better. Their explanations were detailed, we knew what we were getting, and they actually came in under-budget and under-time. I went into this business expecting professional help and what I received was far from that! The very rude man that was sitting at the front counter was less than friendly. I later found out he is one of the owners. I guess he doesn't find it important to be polite to his customers. After showing interest in making a purchase I was shown around by another person who turned out to be a part owner of the business. He was friendly and helpful, but in the end turned out to be rude just like his business partner. I won't shop there and I would not tell anyone I know to trust them. more

I would highly recomend using TheaterXtreme from the first day we walked in they were very helpful explianing how everything worked and did not try to upsell we were sold exactly what was needed for our room.Manny came to our house and walked us through what would work best for us.Example I thought I wanted a 123" screen but he told us that would be to big for the room so we ended up with 103" and it is perfect.We have had the system about a year and when i have called with questions they have been very helpfull.Also the showroom is helpful as you can sit in and watch and listen to different systems before you buy. more

I always thought I was a perfectionist, these guys put me to shame. Apart from a small glitch in the installation date all went according to plan, originally ordering an "off the shelf" system, after reviewing my space some adjustments were suggested - the result a stunning 80" screen that I can see with my patio door wide open to the side with no shades in full sunlight - Go Black Diamond! Great guys to do business with that hold up on their end of the bargin. more

Hello Jeff, As you know, my Wednesday started off on a very chilly note. The Control4 thermostats were not working. I had no heat, a chilly house, and the only thing keeping me warm was my growing frustration. I reached out to David and explained my situation. After he reminded me of some information that we discussed some time ago, I realized that the situation with the thermostats was my fault, and I took steps to remedy the issue. While all of this was going on, David remained professional, calm, and completed the information. The thermostats are functioning, the house is warm, and my wife and I are very pleased. David's professionalism, thoughtfullness, and attention to detail showed throughout this entire project. I decided to use TheaterXtreme of Richmond after I saw a demo of a home theater that they had at a high-tech house. The did whole-house automation for me, from a theater to lighting, temperature control, and some security stuff as well. My experience with TheaterXtreme was phenomenal. They have done 6 or 7 projects for me since the first one, and I like that they treat the jobs as a relationship with the customer as opposed to a transaction. They also have been available to help with the technology and have been extremely valuable in answering questions on off-hours. Everything turned out as I expected and then some. Over the course of the last year to year and a half TheaterXtreme of Richmond has completely automated my home. They have done a home theater, Control4 for my televisions, lighting, irrigation, security, HVAC; they have done it all. We spread the work out, and now everything is pretty well seamless.
