In the past, this restaurant has had a good reputation for delicious food, good service and a great atmosphere. I've not been to Thea in a couple of years until last week. On my recent visit, I was surprized by how run down the place had gotten. Of particular note is the fact that every table in the place was dirty, with food smudges and grease spots. On marble tops, this looks particularly unappetizing. I then looked around and noticed fixtures where very dusty and furniture was not well maintained. The menus themselves seemed to have a slightly grease coating. This used to be a classy place. No longer. \r

Service was average; no complaints, no praises. Although the food was good, it seemed overpriced. The quality and quantity of meat in the Chicken Souvlaki just doesn't justify the price of $19, especially given the dingy environment.\r

It doesn?t seem to me that it would take a whole lot to get this restaurant back on track. Overall, this place as a lot of potential to recover its formal status, but isn't up to par right now.
Pros: Food is good
Cons: Dingy table tops and atmosphere, too pricy given the quality and quantity of food
