I was with a friend on 10/6/12 and she had an appointment. I cannot recommend this place to anyone - dresses all dirty, torn, snags in them. What was unbelievable - they were selling the dresses as-is and no alterations. The store was dirty, as were the bride dresses. This place appeared to be in a going-out-of business situation, which if that is true - would have been better for the sales persons to offer that. more

I came here to look at wedding dresses, after going to large bridal warehouses in surrounding cities, searching for the perfect dress. The Wedding Center is not one of those huge stores that you will feel overwhelmed in, with no guidance. Their selection is outstanding! more

I am a bride that went to the wedding center open minded on what i wanted for my wedding. The staff couldn't of made me feel more welcome from the moment i walked in the door. I was greeted with smiling faces, cake samples, along with a hundred gowns to choose from. My consultant took gowns from me, hung them, and assisted me in getting dressed. I didn't feel pressured, but as though they truly wanted me to look my very best! I was able to book my whole wedding party with the wedding center from my gown, tuxedo rentals, to the most beautiful bridesmaid gowns i have seen in the area! Other shops in the metropolitan area did not offer as good a selection, or have nearly the service i was provided with. I would recommend anyone goes to this shop! more

Brides do not let this circus that claims to be in the tuxedo rental business handle your wedding! Every member of my daughters wedding had issues with their tux! One received a soiled shirt and when asked for a replacement was sent a shirt sleeve length 6"" to long. The same groomsman tied his shoes ar the wedding and the shoestrings broke! Ring bearer was sent trousers for a man that weren't even hemmed! Father of the grooms pants were 6"" to short, need I go on. in the end, they were all corrected, but having most of the bridal party out of town, we didn't need the TWO day hassles and deserved better. Their response....if it makes you feel better the oerson no longer works here....NO...it didn't make me feel better because I was left to fix their mess. more

I really enjoyed my experience at The Wedding Center. My consultant was great and really cared about finding a gown in my budget and the style I looked best in. There were so many designers and styles to choose from, but she picked great samples for me. I ordered my gown and after 5 months it came in perfect and fit me great! I would highly suggest this store to any friend! Pros: individual help sincere attitude more

I've bought 2 gowns from this store. Pros: They had the most beautiful dresses. Good service, great selection, lovely atmosphere. Cons: Needs more dresses in each size other than that nothing, everything is great! more

Recently, I visited the Wedding Center in search for my dream gown. The staff were very helpful, and the stage makes it feel like a fahsion show! There was a great selection and I was able to find the perfect dress. I will be visiting again for my bridesmaid dresses and cannot wait! Pros: staff, selection, atmoshere more

I had a great experience in this store! The staff were wonderful to work with and their selection of gowns were amazing. I went on a Saturday and they were so busy. I had my own consultant and she helped me select gowns that I liked and she suggested many as well. There were 2 other brides and myself sharing the stage area. Each one of the brides had their own consultant. We had a blast! It was like a mini fashion show! My friends loved seeing all the gowns and all of the brides gave each other help. We even took turns trying on the same gowns. All of us enjoyed ourselves and all three of us ordered our gowns! Next we will find the brides maids. I will be going back to the Wedding Center because they were so great to work with. Pros: great staff, great selection, great atmosphere more

I went and recently purchased a Prom gown from the Wedding center! I had Greatd service and the staff helped me pick the best gown to fit my body type and hair style! Not only did i get the dress of my dreams for my senior prom but i they helped me with my hair also i got a tuxedo for my date! This store gave me the whole package and i urge all of my friends at school and family to go and check this GREAT store out! Pros: great service friendly, fun and helpful staff! my best friend was getting married and i was the maid of honor, so of course, i was helping her find her perfect wedding dress. she was from richmond, so she wasn't that familiar with the lexington bridal shops so it was my job to navigate her around town to different shops. when we got to lena's i kept saying to her ""they have so much selection, you're going to love it!"" well i was so wrong! we walked in and no one would help us. my best friend got married when she was 19 and i was 19 also, so the employees treated us like we had no business being in there! they acted like we were just two teenagers that didn't have anything better to do with our saturday except to try on wedding dresses for fun, even though my friend told them her wedding date and discusses all her plans with them (where the wedding would be, what day, etc...). none of the workers would help her try on dresses or even pull them from the racks, so i had to do all that as well. every time we tried to get some help they completely ignored us. we got so mad that we left all the dresses that my friend was trying on in the dressing room and left. i would never reccommend this place to anyone! now i'm getting married and i know where i will NOT be going to look for a dress! After traveling to Louisville, Cincy, and several other local bridal stores, I found the service and selection of dresses to be the best at this store. The choices they had for bridal, brides maids, flower girls and mothers were so huge, but I felt a bit overwhelmed! I did have 2 of the best consultants to work with me and make my experience super. They selected gowns for me based on my photos and descriptions and helped me(with no pressure) decide on the best look for me. I am so glad I decided to visit this store. When I ordered my dress from Lena's they told me it would be in the first week of April. So the first week of April I called and they said it had been shipped out the 1st and it would be at the store within the next two days. So, patiently, I waited and never got a call from them. So finally I called and they acted totally clueless to my situation. They had me on hold for thirty minutes and were extremely rude. They then told me that the dress would not be shipped out till the 12th (this is after I was told it had already been shipped the 1st). All of the employees there act like they don't know whats going on. I don't recommend this store to anyone! Cons: everything more

I was the maid of honor in my friends wedding...the people at Lena's mixed up the measurements for the bridesmaids, and a week before the wedding.NONE of the dresses fit. The people at Lena's told us that if we did not pay to have them fix the mistakes, then we would not be able to have the dresses, so we had to pay for alterations twice because they messed them up..it was horrible service..I dont recommend it to anyone!!! more

Lena's Wedding Center is the only place that help me when I got my wedding dress. All I had to do is tell them what kind of dress I wanted and the price range and they just keep bring dresses to me to try on.They had to alter it a little and I got it back before they told me it would be ready. I love this Store and i got all the dresses for my wedding here and they where great. Pros: inexpensive, great deals, great staff Cons: bad parking more

This store has a rude staff that lies and will do anything to rip a customer off. We ordered our flowergirl dresses there and they were suppose to be in 2 months before the wedding. However, they didn't arrive until 2 weeks before the wedding. They lied to me several times about the dresses. Then when I went in there and refused to pay a rush delivery charge (which I was told I had to pay to have them there 2 months before) they were rude and flat out jerks. I believe that it was the worst expeirence I have ever had at a store and strongly urge anyone to not to go there. more
