Editorial review from Citysearch 8/10/2012

It's pretty inside, kind of like an old men's club. The food is ok, I agree with Rhonda there are better places to eat. It took a long time to get coffee refilled, I had to get my waitress' attention everytime I needed anything. For the price we paid for lunch I expected more attention to service. Still a landmark in Visalia. more

Historic Visalian Restaurant 1/2/2011

I honestly want to give this place 5 stars, but some dishes haven't turned out so well for me. My favorite thing to do at the Vintage Press is their Sunday Brunch. They serve great breakfast, but along with it, they give you a beautiful fruit platter and amazing breads and pastries. more

Graceful Ambiance 5/11/2009

Out of all the restaurants that I have had the pleasure of dining at, the Vintage Press is by far my favorite dining experience. Family owned and operated since 1966. Chef Vartanian's menu combines the simple pleasures of epicurean delights in a comfortable, classic atmosphere. Never fails to impress! Pricey but worth it. more

you can steak on it 12/8/2008

This a great place for those that like a good steak or seafood entrees. It can be a little pricey but the food is really good. The atmosphere is more for adults than kids. The menu is not really kid freely. more

Great restaurant, not kid friendly 10/22/2008

They have friendly service. They're a higher end restaurant that doesn't offer food for kids. They have good food. The place would make a great date night for an anniversary. I enjoy them when I do get to eat there. Its not my top choice though because I'd rather have a burger. more

Pure Class 7/26/2004

If you just want food go to Denney's. This is the real deal for a dining experience. The food is prepared from the finest fresh ingredients and presented nicely in a beautiful atmosphere of antiques and relaxation. I have dined in 27 countries and found no better dining experience. It is deliberately slow paced and the opposite of fast food. It's definately not for everyone. Just people who look for the best. Pros: Delicious, Pampered, Relaxed Cons: , Don't be in a hurry. more

Oh Please 8/8/2002

If you are a snootie butt, this is the place for you. If you actually just want some good food, there are plenty of places that serve terrific food and still create ambiance. Like, Little Italy, Rosa's (the one in Tulare), Gina's, and so many more. So, to recap, if you like spending lots of money for people to fancy up your plate so it looks like organized food, go here. If you want to feel full, and really enjoy yourself, go elsewhere. more
