If I lived in Mantua it would be my hang-out. I have been there over the past forty years and experienced all the transitions. It is the ""Cheers"" of Mantua Township. A neighborhood joint with good food, good people and reasonably priced if you can afford to go out. If I didn't live 600 miles away, I'd be there atleast twice a week. more

6 of us arrived Friday at 6:00 to a completely full parking lot. The bar had patrons 2 deep. After being shown to our table that would normally seat 4 diners, we waited approximately 10 minutes for our waitress. She never told us about the specials. The salads were quick to arrive but were very small. After a substantial wait, our dinners arrived. The portions were below average. I ordered the blackened salmon cooked medium; it came out well done. I also changed my rice to lobster risotto and it came out with no lobster. Another in our party ordered flounder stuffed with crab and spinach, but there was no crab in it. The waitress seemed disinterested with our concerns. My wife was only drinking water and the waitress claimed there were no large glasses available, but other patrons' beers were coming out in large glasses. She was drinking from a 6 ounce glass.
