Our son attended Suzuki from when he was a baby (9 months) to 4 years old. The Suzuki School is an amazing place with amazing people! Our son grew and flourished there thanks to...

We have sent two kids to the Suzuki School over the past 6 years; one of them is still enrolled. The old Cains Hill location was run down and small yet we got the sense that the ...

Your child will be a profit center 4/10/2006

After Suzuki brought in outside investors (and expanded) in 2004, we became extremely displeased with the school and removed our child from the school. In 2004, the class sizes ballooned to over 40 kids per class, teacher turnover increased and services decreased. The classrooms for the 2-5 year olds are loud and class sizes too big. The investors are overly focused on profit at the risk of the best child care and education possible - which is generally understandable for a small business owner - but not when it comes to the care of my child - or yours. Also, the extracurricular activities that they promote are not included in the already high tuition. A simple case of too much growth and greed. We had loved it so much before the expansion. more

Highly recommended 3/30/2006

Suzuki has been such a positive experience for my child. It has also been a wonderful experience for us as working parents. We are very pleased with our decision -- we highly recommend this school. more

The teachers are so kind and nurturing 3/22/2006

I interviewed quite a few day care facilities before I returned to work, and Suzuki was the best, by far. My daughter has been attending Suzuki for the past year and she LOVES it! When I pick her up in the evening, she talks non stop on the ride home about the great day she has had and everything she has learned. I am amazed with the new things she learns every day. The teachers are so kind and nurturing, I have nothing to worry about when I drop her off in the morning. After having my daughter, sending her to Suzuki was the best decision I've made. more

Suzuki gives me piece of mind 3/17/2006

Not only does my child learn every day at Suzuki, but I learn. The teachers take an active role in helping me (the parent) know how to stimulate my child's mind and emotions at home. My child is leaps and bounds beyond other children his age, and I know it is the Suzuki difference! Suzuki gives me piece of mind... it is clean, the staff is incredibly nuturing, the curriculum is progressive and proven... I am not sure I could do as good of a job if I were at home with my child! more

Love it! 3/10/2006

The classes are small, and the attention to each child is unmatched. The teachers and staff do an amazing job of communicating with me on a daily basis so that I always know what they are learning so we can work on it at home as well. I know that I have never seen my daughter as happy or thrive in a school environment the way she has at Suzuki. There is a genuine love and concern for the children at Suzuki that can be seen in every teacher. Not only are these the best teachers in their field; they truly love their work and it shows. I think that the teachers love McKenna as much as she loves them, and that is saying a lot! more

Wonderful!! 3/5/2006

My 3 year old child wakes up every morning and asks, ""Can I go to Suzuki today?' When I drop him off at school, there is a quick ""good-bye"" and then he runs off to give his teachers a hug and play with his friends. When I pick him up at the end of the day, he can't wait to tell me about all of the wonderful things he participated in that day. Every day my child is at Suzuki, he seems to learn new things and experience different situations. His teachers create a loving and nurturing environment for each child to express themselves and grow as individuals. I love Suzuki for giving my child a ""home away from home"" and for allowing me to know that this is the best thing that I can do for my child in his early development. more

Great school. Buckhead institution 2/26/2006

Suzuki is a warm nurturing school. My child attended there and was well loved. Great location. The children leave Suzuki well prepared for Kindergarten! I highly recommend it. more

This is a DAYCARE - nothing more, nothing less 1/12/2006

We enrolled our child believing that we were receiving so much more than we did receive. The daycare is plagued by unresponsive and ineffective management, high staff turnover, and excessively high numbers of children per classroom. Know that your child is a number and a dollar figure, not a name. Parents receive absolutely no feedback daily. Daily sheets are photocopied and ONLY tell you whether they ate and slept. No individual information is provided. Little to no communication occurs with parents either from staff or from management. Information changes daily there. I would pay any amount of money for my child to actually receive the services he/she was promised there. In associating with several private school grads and parents of private school students - this institution is not recognized or recommended. You should know that before you invest. more

Fabulous! 8/18/2005

We are delighted with the experience our 18-mo-old is getting at Suzuki! We looked at all the other ""daycare"" facilities, but we really wanted something more educational and not just ""supervised play."" My sister who is a pediatrician told me there was no way to teach children less than 3-yrs-old in any stuctrured fashion, and that therefore any so-called ""learning center"" was just glorified daycare. She was wrong! Our son has blossomed since he began attending Suzuki - he is happier, more interactive and less timid, and his skills are getting stronger and broader every day. The facilities are pleasant and clean, the staff is energetic, knowledgeable and caring, and the curriculum is genuinely geared towards advancing the skills of students in addition to entertaining them. I cannot say enough good things! I would genuinely recommend Suzuki to any parent looking for a caring and stimulating environment for their child. more

High praise for Suzuki School 8/9/2005

Words alone are not enough to describe the wonderfull environment in which our child is growing and learning at the Suzuki School. From the management to the teachers, all have one objective: providing the most wholesome learning environment possible. My wife and I are thoroughly impressed with the level of attention each child receives, whether in music class, languge skills or in the various learning pods. Our child has been with Suzuki for more than 3 years. We believe that her experience in Suzuki will strengthen her learning skills as she continues her higher eductaion. Bottom line: If you want your children to have an edge in life, send them to Suzuki. Pros: Skilled Teachers, Responsive management, Child safety more

The best childcare for the money in Atlanta 8/9/2005

Our three year old daughter has been at Suzuki since the Spring and I can tell you that this is the best childcare for the money in Atlanta. Between our three year old and our ten year old child, we have used every type of childcare - from live-in Au Pairs from Europe to local Nannies from Snellville; from mega-church preschool programs to ultra-ritzy private school early learning centers. For preschoolers, Suzuki beats them all. Stellar, smart, warm, caring staff; safe, clean, fun environment; great learning programs. Highly recommended. more

High Cost - Low Value 7/14/2005

We sent our child to this daycare center, but had many problems with the facilities, the new Management, etc. despite paying a premium (among the highest prices in Atlanta). We have found a far better alternative for our child since we left Suzuki, and at 75% of the price. The best preschools in Atlanta are run by non-profits and churches, always have been, and probably always will be! Such organizations also have to be run profitably, but it's not their primary motive for being in the business - care and love of children is. more

Good day care in Buckhead 5/13/2002

My son started attending day care at Suzuki when he turned one. It was traumatic for him (as well as me), but the director and employees were very understanding and helped us all adjust. The center has a low teacher/child ratio; I dont usually see more than 4 kids per adult in my sons level. The teachers seem kind and theyve been very communicative about my son's progress. He brings home fantastic art projects, as well. I think it's a little pricier than other day care centers, but it's worth it. Pros: low ration, great art projects, lots of attention Cons: price more
