The Spot Off Main

Last night a girl was harassing me because I was a Seahawks fan. She would purposefully follow me around the bar [this happened a total of 4 times] and ask people what I was talking about so she could start a fight. I do not know this girl. She was friends with the Bouncer though- I know because I saw them talking for about 15 minutes in between her harassment. On the last occasion I was literally trying my hardest to stay away from her and she followed me outside, interrupted our conversation which was awkward to those involved, then she just started yelling at me, ended up spitting at me, and pushed me - at that point the bouncer came outside and started yelling at me with his finger pointed in my face. He kept yelling, ""this is still MY property for one more month so you do what I say"" - the point of having a bouncer is to de-escalate situations and possibly interfere when necessary. He was escalating the situation beyond reasonable measure and causing a greater problem than the one that existed. However, this guy seemed to think that because she was 4'11"" and I am 5'8"" that there was no way she could be the one instigating. This girl committed 2 class 4 misdemeanors and I was the one ejected. My regular bartender Amy who knows that we don't start fights just stood there as if she was afraid of him too and didn't defend us as did another member of their staff who knows us very well. This bar is scheduled to shut down in a month. Maybe that is why this bouncer's behavior was so out of line. Or maybe bad behavior like this is WHAT MADE THEM LOSE PROFIT. Not excusable. They definitely charged me for the drink I had just ordered. So, I guess they got their profit anyways. more

Nice, well-stocked sports bar with a great location. Parking can be tricky on the weekends. Lots of attractive women in their mid 20s and dudes in their late 30s more

ok place. But damn it, why the hell do they think my boyfriend and I are drunk at midnight on Thursday nite. We order 6 drinks (3 each) and were charged 11. When I went to the manager, he fixed right away, again. WHY. WHO'S behind this and why the hell is it still going on. more

A group of us attending a Microsoft conference met up for Karaoke. We had a great time singing, playing pool, and drinking. I'm sure we will be back next year! more

We held our son's rehearsal gathering there last night and were so very pleased! It was an amazing environment in our own private lounge and the service could not have been better! Thanks so much for everything ..... !! Pros: casual environment more

I've tried this place three times and the service is so terrible I can't believe it is still open. There are happy hour menus on the table which would lead you to believe a server might come take an order. The first time I was there, someone did get our food and drink orders, but didn't return once we had our food. The food is sub-par. I don?t think they have a kitchen, just re-heating abilities. The second time I went we sat there for 10 minutes before we left. The place was nearly empty and there were two or three employees who were chatting but never acknowledged us. The last time I went we had to go to the bar for drinks, although one table did have a server attending to them. The staff isn't friendly. It seems like they have friends who hang out there (who probably wrote the good reviews) that they talk to instead of taking orders or checking on their patrons. I wanted to like this place because it is such a good location for my big group to meet for happy hour, but the service is such a joke it isn?t worth it. Cons: Terrible Service more

This place is fun, (the owner is great!!) and cute bartenders. What more can you ask for? My friend had her b-day there not too long ago, lotsa fun! Oh, and I like the Marilyn bathroom! more

Last month I held a Corporate Event at the Spot Off Main. The staff at this place is simply unbelievable! They went above and beyond to ensure that the event was a success right from the minute I started planning up until the actual event. They offered a range of activities for our attendees including billiards, darts, local beer tastings, video games, a jukebox and a variety of sports/movies to watch. The food and drink were great, the entertainment was fabulous and the service and price were unbeatable. I would definitely recommend this venue to others event planners or companies looking to plan a fun and relaxed event! Pros: Service, price, activities, drinks more

I stopped by The Spot off Main on Friday night and had a great time. I was looking for a place that I could go for a drink, after work and I am pretty sure I found that place. I was greeted by a jolly bartender who got my beer and asked me how my day went. I did not take the time to play pool but I will come back a different day when I have time to do that - the tables were really nice though. Happy hour went from 4 to 8, I could not stay that long on this Friday but I was told that they are moving the happy hour even longer on Friday nights to 4 to 10 WOW. Pros: Nice Bartenders, Great feel and a cold beer to make me smile. Cons: Small bar - service is limited, but to be expected I guess. more

I recently had a private event there for 130 people. Everyone had a great time. The service and the staff, with Ryan coordinating everything was fanstastic. Everything we asked for, he and the team provided us very quickly. It is easy parking and quick to get in and out of, so we definitely will come there again for other events or just shooting pool and have some Stella's. I really enjoy this come as you are type bar. Bellevue is notorious for the uppity stuck up people that represent the ""look what I got type"". You wont find snobbiness here!!The staff here is so friendly, Daniel the Manager is one of the most personable. Its a new bar and the Bar tenders remember your name and what you drink. Slowly their expanding and adding more and more Food is limited as of yet but love the pulled pork sandwichs.. Given time they will expand next door. The pool is indeed not cheap but your playing on tournament new tables. I recommend this place as a nice friendly place to sit quietly with a date or watch sports on their huge Tv. Maybe show up for movie night and you may end up wearing a eye patch for pirate night and snackin on gold coin chocolate. because I would have been pretty bummed if I had to pay almost $8 for a slightly upscale McDonalds hamburger and as it was the $5 was still way too much for the lack of quality. The quesadilla wasn't any better (if not worse) and the drinks were really weak. The place seemed a little too self conscious, like it was trying way too hard to be a hip, upscale, big-city hang out. I won?t be going back. Pros: The location is close to downtown Bellevue and the jazz music was decent. Cons: The hamburger tasted like something I could've gotten at BurgerKing. more

I understand great drinks for a great price but they are very limited...... only a few beers on tap which is pretty dissapointing and the liquor selection is below par as well. It would be nice if atleast one bar in bellevue had pool which was priced per game, the spot is a bar, and should have their pool tables reflect this. its not the parlor and im not sure where they get off on charging as much as they do for an hr of pool on th weekends. There are plenty of other places in such as kent,renton kirkland woodinville which i would rather pay 50 cents to 100 per game than waste my money here. maybe thats why the tables are always open though. give me a tasty beer at a reasonable price ""not cheep beer"" and let me play some pool and not leave with an empty bank acount!!!! probably wont go there again. I've been waiting for a cool place to hang out and play pool. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet high class. Somewhat limited liquor selection, but that's made up for in their cheap drink prices. Love your Happy Hour guys!!! I played in last week's pool tournament and came in 5th. Great tables. Love the red felt. You'll be seeing more of me. Cheers. This is a outstanding place to grab a drink after work. Their staff is extremely friendly and the drink prices are very affordable. Not to mention the happy hour goes till 8pm!
