The gym is really quite nice, but its management is abysmal. Membership service will not even tell you their rates, not even their base rates, if you call. What kind of business...

The Sporting Club at the Bellevue is a great gym. They have all the latest equipment. I love going there in the morning because it is never crowded. Personal trainers are also available to help you. The cost of membership is very expensive but it is a nice gym. They also have healthy snacks after after a hard workout. It is one of my favorite gyms. more

Racquetball 12/29/2005

There is a ton to do here!! Racket ball courts, hockey, weightlifting...a really nice gym.....They are a little pricey, but you do get a lot for your dollar. They have up to date equiptment, and they also have plenty of room for banquets, and all sorts of space. I reallly enjoy working out here! more

A good club finally 9/12/2005

I've had a hard time finding a good club and finally I have found one that motivates me to work out. The group classes are excellent, the staff is friendly and the facility is up to date with great equipment. I notice that they listen to the members and work hard to make everyone comfortable. It doesn't just have a gym feel to it, it has a "club" feel, where you are taken care of. more

If money were no object 8/6/2005

I can say that this is the best gym in Philadelphia. I am a member of Philadelphia Sports Club, but did get a free trial 3 day offer for the sporting club. The place rocks. The locker rooms are immaculate, all the machines from the cardio, to the free weights, to the machines were brand new. Plus, there is a pool (indoor) and a basketball court. One thing that is unique is the ceilings are like 20 feet high! The major drawback and reason I did not join is that it costs twice as much as any other gym. more
