We went for a girls spa getaway and what a disappointment! The spa treatments were fine but the staff at the front desk of the spa was not. They signed us up for classes but didn't bother to tell us that there was a charge. When we found out about the charge and asked to cancel, they gave us a hard time and then proceeded to ignore us whenever they saw us! Unprofessional. The food at the restaurant was good, however, service was slow - expect your meals to take a while. Finally, when we went to check out, our room rates were different from what we reserved. I have been a senior financial analyst and one of my friends an accountant and we kept reviewing the bill, confused as to where the difference was coming from. As we had no evidence (no confirmation email or anything from them at checkout), we went home. Upon returning, I looked on their website and the same rates under which we reserved was still being advertised. I called them and didn't get a return call until I filled out their survey. When one of the managers called me and I explained what happened and how they charged us incorrectly, she explained that it wasn't incorrect. Apparently, despite what was told my friend and I when we made the reservation, all four of us should have stayed in one small double room to get the lower four person rate. We specifically confirmed the rate when making the reservation - if, despite, our poor experiences, you decide to go here, be sure to get everything in writing!
