The Shores Resort & Spa

I really love this hotel. I went the first time on a girls weekend and the second time I went with my family (I have two small children) and another family. Our friends love it and if you look on their website or check the internet you can find good deals to stay there. We stayed for $99 on night and $113 another night. I guess my favorite time at the hotel is at night. They have a great ambiance. They light candles everywhere and it is very dim. They have comfy furniture on the large patio and they have white sandy areas with large chairs that surround two fire pits. The pool area over looks the ocean and you can rent a cabana and get poolside service. While my kids had a great time there, I think I prefer other places in Florida to stay with them. However, I love this hotel for a romantic get away with my husband or a girls weekend. They have a spa that could use renovating but they carry great skin and body lines. I work in the spa industry so I am picky about that. I loved the body treatment I had there. more

What an amazing hotel!, I've stayed at many fine hotels and this one was exceptional. The service, the atmosphere, and the rooms all amazing! And don't forget about the restaurant (Baleen) the food was superb! Hands down the best and only place to stay in Daytona Beach. more
