Booked a night here for a romantic get-a-way and we got so much more!! Wish we could have stayed forever. The best hotel by far I have ever stayed in my long list of them. The staff are like ghosts, you never see them, but everything is done and prepared for you including turn down service and champagne. Drop dead gorgeous rooms and location. Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean waves with the balcony door open. They upgraded us to a ocean balcony room for the price of oceanview by booking over the phone. Breakfast in bed the next morning was great. I will never forget our experience here. more

Great Beach Front Resort 7/25/2006

If you are looking for a great place to stay near Daytona Beach check out The Shores in Daytona Beach Shores. The hotel is located right on the beach and is an excellent bargain. It is a four star hotel that you can get for about $150 a night. This is definitely one of the nicest four star hotels that I have ever stayed in. Most rooms come with a 42" plasma screen and DVD player so remember to bring movies if you are staying for a while. They also have a nice pool, a hot tub, spa, and two restaurants. The atmosphere is very relaxing. more
