Louisville's famous hotel 8/12/2005

The Seelbach has been a Louisville landmark for years. Not only is it a beautiful hotel, it is steeped in history and grandeur. I have heard that it has accommodated the rich and famous to the infamous. I had the pleasure of staying there for a night and it was a great experience. Since it is a Five Star hotel, it is a bit expensive. But if you are looking for the best, this is it in Louisville. more

The Seelbach Hotel 8/2/2005

The Seelbach Hotel has been open since 1905 , is on the National Historical Registry, and is stunning. It is great for a romantic weekend getaway or a great place to recommend for out-of-town guests. Its proximity to the newly revived Forth Street Live is also a plus. The service and rooms are great. This is a good place use for meetings or receptions. If all else fails, go for a meal at The Oakroom restaurant and then look around at the hotel. more
