Yet another in the long line of restaurants based around someone who once visited New Orleans, and is trying to cook the food that they had there from memory. I had the Jambalaya, and there was barely any rice in it, not to mention being more towards the gumbo side than the true jambalaya side. Also, the gumbo has okra. In all the time that I was in New Orleans, that was what separated the pretenders. They included okra in their gumbo. I also had the red beans and rice. VERY PLAIN! This was basically pinto beans with sausage. VERY little in the way of spices.
Tim's is closer to ""the real thing"" than this place is. You have been warned.
Pros: WIDE selection of cajun fare
Cons: VERY plain
