Overpriced 4/15/2006

I enjoyed this restaurant on the East Coast, but no matter where it is it is outrageously expensive for what it is. Then, when it comes to drinks, the menu lists "Diet Coke" but you actually get Diet Rite, which is a much cheaper drink and not Diet Coke at all (it is disgusting!). The pancakes are good but it is not worth the price (everything is a la carte) and the service is pretty bad. I would never go there again. more

The Original Pancake House take pancakes and kicks them up a notch. They offer an impressive array of pancakes, waffles and eggs for breakfast and lunch daily. You can get everything from blueberry pancakes to bacon pancakes (surprisingly delicious!) to clam pancakes (ewww). The house specialties are the dutch baby and the apple cinnamon pancake. Both f these take about 20 minutes to prepare and the servers do not tell you that. The only think that is lacking is the ambiance.
