The Movers Group and his crew of movers were good. I had to move from my old apartment to new apartment with a crazy steep driveway and a zillion stairs. They got the job done way under the estimate! They also were running, I mean literally RUNNING!, up that steep driveway and the stairs. I had warned the movers about the crazy steep driveway, and he personally went to the new house a week before we moved in to take a look and figure out a solution. I absolutely recommend this moving company. No hidden charges. They handled my belongings with care which I greatly appreciate. more

I was hesitant to go to any professional mover for our local move as I had encountered a lot of hidden charges at the end of the billing, On a friend's recommendation, we called up The Movers Group and couldn't have been more happier with the entire process of our move. From the estimate (which was fair and accurate) to the pre-move paperwork and communication which was easy and smooth to the move itself which was quick and professional we were 100% satisfied with the entire moving team being so sensitive, professional, and one of them also being highly educated . The crew was quick, professional, and extremely well-trained in manuvering heavy furniture in and out of difficult angles. Thanks Movers Group. more

These guys were great. Henry and his team, made our move as smooth as possible. They both offered their advice and listened to our preferences about how our things should be moved. They were friendly and pleasant and super hard working--they were careful with our belongings and were not annoyed by our two year old who was sometimes under foot. When the move was taking longer than expected, they brought in a fourth guy to help. They were very conscientious about putting all of our furniture just where we wanted it in our new place. I highly recommend them. more

quality service, excellent rates 12/30/2011

There are 45 stairs leading up to our new house. I knew that moving time would be stressful and challenging, and didn't want to mess around with incompetent movers. (But also wanted to get the best deal possible.) I found The Movers Group here with both quality service and excellent rates. Henry and his fellow mover were not only prompt and careful (while still being efficient), but also remained cheerful after several trips up the stairs. Even after tipping good, I still felt like I got a great deal, and would recommend them to anyone who needs to move on a budget, but does not want to sacrifice quality. more

I can't tell you just how happy we are with how The Movers Group handled everything last week. They were careful, efficient, and extremely polite. I have moved over a dozen times in my short life and this was, by far, the most amount of STUFF that I have ever moved. Our family is so pleased with how these guys handled everything and would recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable, awesome moving company! more

Consistant Movers 12/23/2011

I've used The Movers Group twice over the past 3 years - for moving both residentially and commercially. They are always my first choice. They are prompt (if not early!) and so FAST. They are also good people - personable, polite, and super efficient with your time when they are on the clock. Hopefully I don't have to move anytime soon, but if I did, they would be my first call. more

Professional and Efficient Movers 12/15/2011

I called movers from The Movers Group a week before we had to move and they had the best quote of the 3 companies I had bid. When the 5 man team they arrived and were all very efficient, respectful and professional. They packed and moved us within 7 hours from our 2100sq ft. co-op building and respected all of the building rules, as not to get us in trouble. Not only did they dismantle all of our furniture (including our 1000 lb. bed) that would not fit in the elevator, they put it back together at our new location and helped us place everything in the right place. We also entrusted them with packing our entire kitchen, computers, artwork and clothing. Not a thing was damaged or scratched. The boxes were labeled and were very well organized, and anything fragile was wrapped well beyond what it really needed; a good thing. Cheers Movers Group! more

They deserve a chance 12/9/2011

We were recommended The Movers Group from a very close associate and with the help of the internet reviews we finally managed to shortlist this company. The guys from The Movers Group were great and within 1 day of me asking for a quote, someone called me, gave me the eatimate , so we decided to book the move and he instantly confirmed and scheduled a moving date and time for us. The 3 man team came on time, wrapped up all of my furniture, and moved it to my new apartment within the estimated time frame. Can't say enough good things about them. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashiers cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time, but if I do I shall still hire them. more

We have used Movers Group for moving exclusively over the last seven years because of their excellent and superior service. They stored our belongings when necessary and when asked, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We hope to never move again, but will use them if needed and recommend them in a heartbeat! Good Movers 11/30/2011

Overall I had a positive experience. I was disappointed that none of the movers that day spoke much English, so I used hand motions. The biggest disappointment was the truck was not big enough to move our small three bedroom house across town. So we had to make TWO trips that day (luckily we were only moving 10 minutes away). This probably added another hour and a half to the day. However, they worked through without a lunch break and nothing was broken. All three guys were really nice and I was glad I'd chosen them. more

Decent Movers 11/27/2011

These movers are lucky I'm giving them 5 stars because they didn't meet me out at a bar later that night, as instructed. I'll get over this minor insult and give 5 stars, anyway, because they were great. They were really fun, really careful and really fast. The last time I hired movers I thought they were going to die carrying my furniture and punch me when they saw how many stairs they had to go up, but these guys didn't complain once. I am very happy I used them and will recommend to all of my friends. Don't ask them out for drinks, though, because they won't show. :) more

Guys were great! 11/25/2011

These guys were great! They arrived on time and got the move done really quickly (faster than I was expecting, and faster than the estimate they had quoted me). I ended up paying significantly LESS money than I was quoted since they did the job so fast. My only complaint is that a couple items got slightly damaged in transit, and the walls at the entrance got scuffed up a bit due to having a narrow hallway. more

They arrived to my home the day of the move earlier than quoted, and were very respectful, helpful and careful with my belongings. Excellent Moving People 11/23/2011

My family moved from Hollywood to Hallandale, and we got the complete pack treatment. The price was $1500, which I found to be totally worth it. The level to which we were unprepared for moving day is impossible to overstate. We literally did *nothing* to pack. The team from ML movers showed up early and proceeded to pack absolutely everything in our little bungalow up into their truck. They were done packing and loading by around 3, and they were done unloading at around 7. It took them 1 day to do something that could have stretched over weeks if we had tried to do it ourselves. The guys were really friendly and nice, and I felt I could trust them to take good care of our things during the move. Not a single glass was broken, nothing dented, nothing missing. It's like they magically teleported everything from one place to another. I would highly recommend The Movers Group to anyone, even if someone else promises to move you cheaper. Trust me, they're as reasonable as they can be with the service they provide, and moving is not a time for you to take a bottom-dollar bid. more

Efficient and Hardworking guys 11/19/2011

The guys from The Movers Group were seriously amazing. They showed up on time (early actually), and slogged themselves. They took extreme care with valuables and paid great attention not to damage walls, etc. They did the job in half the time that the company I had move me in, and they seemed really happy while they were working, too! They made a normally stressful situation into a surprisingly calm one. Highly recommended. And yes, tips are welcome and deserved for such efficient moving guys. Thanks The Movers Group. more

Not a bad choice 11/11/2011

Moving is stressful enough, so the last thing you want is a mover who is careful with your stuff,or seems to be wasting time on the clock. The Movers Group sent over two great guys (on one of the hottest days this year) who did a great job, especially considering my new place doesn't have an elevator and is three flights up. They never seemed to stop for a break, and didn't break or scratch anything and t hey even disassembled my bed and put it together at the new place.
