Pros - Beautiful Landscapes, Great Food!

Only Romantic if You Get a Good Table 8/22/2006

I went for dinner at Mill on the River in August '05. The food was delicious -- I had filet mignon with shrimp and the best tomato salad ever. My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant because it was rated ""most romantic."" However, we were seated in the middle of the room -- no view, and we kinda felt out in the open -- it was not intimate or romantic at all. Not to mention, they have a beautiful deck overlooking the water, but you can't eat out there. I was disappointed with the atmosphere, though the food was good. ""Mill on the Septic"" 4/8/2006

I took a group of 8 there for business dinner. Unfortunately, we arrived during daylight, so they got to see the ""river"" Several of them joked about the sewage, so we sat inside, away from the windows. Service was prompt and done with a pretty smile --- food was average. One of the guests had issues with the martini, but that was corrected by ordering another one. Would recommend as barely above average overall Pros: Good Parking, Waitress, Unique Cons: Food not special, price more

Great Lunch with a View 12/30/2002

Mill on the River has an excellent lunch menu yet is moderately priced. Great for business lunches yet dynamic enough to cater a wedding. Extremly romantic dinners in a rustic old mill. Pros: Rustic & Romantic, Moderate Priced more

Beautiful Decore - Excellent Ambiance - 4 Star Calibur Cuizine - all this with a view to behold. Loved everything from appitizer's to fabulous coffee and dessert's - Worth a drive from anywhere. more
