Lemon Ices 6/18/2006

When it's hot outside and I have a craving for an Ice then I head over to the Lemon Ice King of Corona. They have some of the best flavors in the tri state area. I recommend the watermelon and the peanut butter. The decor is reminiscient of the 1960's era and I like nothing better than to buy a slushy ice and stand outside in the shade. more

The Best Italian Ice in the City 6/16/2006

The Lemon Ice King of Corona surely offers the best Italian Ice in Queens, and possibly in New York City. There are many flavors, including all varieties of fruit, chocolate, and specialties like bubble gum and cotton candy. This no-frills Queens staple consists of a counter and not much else. On a hot summer day, the Lemon Ice King is the undisputed king. During your first visit, try the original lemon ice. more
