The Last Resort is one of my favorites. I've eaten here a lot through the years and have mostly loved everything I've eaten. Their lunch is awesome and very resonably priced. Go here. You won't regret it. more

Great atmosphere. 5/27/2006

The Last Resort has a fantastic atmosphere and their lunch is very reasonably priced and good! I also like their dinner entrée, Adobo Salmon. I'd definitely recommend this place for daters and couples during dinner because they have a cute and romantic patio seating area. more

My favorite place in Athens! 4/11/2006

Last Resort is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Their menu is very extensive and has some very delicious choices on there. Lunch is reasonably priced and delicious while dinner is a little bit more expensive but is worth the extra dough! The best thing on the menu is the Fried Green Tomato sandwich with Vidalia Bacon Dressing. Be prepared to wait b/c the place is always packed! more

Wonderful place to eat 10/5/2005

Wonderful food and terrific service all add up to a memorable dining experience. The only downside is that the small dining room can seem crowded. They have an outside patio that is heated in the winter. Don't forget to get dessert. Their desserts are out of this world! more

Great Servings and Prices 8/6/2005

I love the salmon at Last Resort – everything I have ever ordered has come in large portions and well done. The place has free parking next door and indoor / outdoor seating options. The restaurant has been packed the couple of times I have been there, so it is not the best place for a quiet dinner, but it has an eclectic menu and good wait staff. more

A First Resort 8/5/2005

This restaurant is noone's last resort. It is one of the gems of Athens, offering a wide variety of foods, all with a southern flair. The Last Resort offers options that are not usually found on a standard menu, such as "Catch in Parchment" or "Struggleville Shrimp." Grits are often seen as a side item and fried green tomatoes are also offered. There are a wide array of fresh desserts to delight your fancy. more
