As a nurse, I thought I knew it all. Going to the Hungry Heart was enlightening, because knowing what I should eat, was very different than actually eating it. I felt like I could write a book in what we should all be doing, yet why couldn't I do it. The stress in my life was eating away at me. I now manage stress with healthy tools, give myself a break when needed, and listened to my internal voice. As someone always taking care of others, it is great to finally take care of myself.
