depends what department 9/8/2007

The Sherwood Home Depot varies from excellent and knowledgeable service to frustrations and anger. It depends which department you go to, and the higher up in management the less competent the individual tends to be.\r \r HD used to have a more liberal ?match the competition? on tools-now they just about check your ID. This has cost them a lot of my business with new DeWalt power tools. The appliance department is good or bad depending on who waits on you-and that means really good or really bad. The BBQ grill department is really iffy. I bought a $900 Weber and the store made me deal with the supplier on a warranty issue. They should deal with the supplier-not me. Otherwise why not shop the Internet-the service would be the same and the price cheaper???\r \r They have a new store manager and he has a way to go? more

Superior Service 4/18/2007

A friend told me how she hates shopping at Home Depot in another city because she can never find anyone to help her. I never have this problem at the Sherwood location. I don't know what the difference is, but I will definitely keep going to this store.\r \r Not only is there always someone available to help me, they do so gladly. Even if they look busy, I have been able to ask for help and they will drop what they are doing to help me. This used to be common courtesy in customer service, but it is becoming more and more rare.\r \r If the staff don't know the answer to my question (which is rare), they say so and go find someone who does. I love shopping at this store.\r \r Also, I have found that their prices are usually the same as or lower than other places, their selection is excellent, their return policy is liberal, and they have a great guarantee on plants. more

Great service 7/23/2005

I thought that all home depots were the same. This particular homde depot provides fast and friendly service. They want to help you as opposed to the other home deopt on sequoia pkway. more

The Everything Store 5/24/2005

The staff is always helpful and I can find whatever it is I am looking for the make improvements to my home. Prices are the same if not better than you would find anywehere else. Their professionals that work in the paint department always gve their advice without telling you what to do and trying to help you do the best job painting those rooms as possible. I am definitely a loyal customer in less than one year of my home-ownership. more
