The Home Depot

This has got to be the absolutely the worst Home Depot in the entire country. Please avoid going there at all costs!! They must have zero standards for hiring their employees because I've never seen such atrocious customer service. I don't even know where to begin, but I'll give it a go: I used home depot for an entire house renovation, so I had to deal w/ basically every aspect of this store. Their kitchen "designers" are the most incompetent and un-knowledgeable people you could ever deal with (apparently what I heard was that the "good" designers left to work for a different kitchen design company, I could never wonder why... not!) The "designer" (I use that term loosely) I dealt with took over 2 days to try and design kitchen cabinets and did a below mediocre job. A couple weeks later and now I have to deal with the repercussions at install: fillers/molding needing to be ordered to correct mistakes, panels missing, glass missing from a cabinet, alterations needing to be done to cabinets in order for appliances to fit, and extra cabinets/panels/random pieces of glass being ordered!! (Delivery service comes to pick up all this "extra material" with the worst entire attitude imaginable, just because they didn’t want to move the material from the kitchen to the front door, they being moving stuff around slamming certain things without any care, leave all the material there, (after yelling at them to be careful) and then leave speeding off in their truck in a residential street.) All this is all the cost of my money and time! On top of it all, the "designer" still takes zero blame for her design and tries to get super defensive on the phone, instead of trying to figure out how to solve the problem. Another designer helping me order doors is eating m&m’s off her desk while trying to order the doors. (It was disgusting) The rest of the employees there are just as incompetent, I asked one of the employees there to help me move some of the drywall they have stacked up, he comes over with a bad attitude (complaining t more

No matter how many times I go into this Home Depot, I can never find what it is that I am looking for unless it's paint or toilets. It's infuriating because of the lack of logic, and I guess I need a little logic in my Home depots. This one just bothers me, and I usually look forward to going to Home Depot, even if I have no good godly idea why I am there. Normally, I find my home and hardware stores soothing, but I find no peace at this store. No service either, they only seem to get me more lost. I drive over to the Home Depot on Clybourn when I need something from this chain, because it is really hard to find everything I need from the Ace on Ashland. more
